No made up history here. April 1981 from two of the biggest DJs in the North and four legendary nights. This is one of the chart/news sheets left on the tables by the DJs at the clubs we attended. If ya know, ya know jus’ how amazin’ this forty year old scrap of paper is, complete with two future purchases I musta scribbled down on one of the nights #legendsmanchester #raftersmanchester #manchesterclubs #cassinellis #nightclubs #jazzfunk #jazz #funk #boogie #electro #soul #blackmusic #latin #fusion #dancing #mylife #jazzdancers #dancefloorjazz #clubbing #disco #musicmemorabilia #johntntgrant

A wee heads up people on this Kodie Blak spin. This here track ‘Disco Stu’ is THE BEST nu disco track that I have heard in months and months and months. It’s not a stupid edit of an old played out disco track with a house beat behind it and an extended intro. This is a proper nu disco track in the true sense of the word. Out of Estonia, it’s not really been picked up by hunners of folk as of yet, so grab yourself one asap. Sounds Of The Universe in London’s Soho have two copies left. It’s pure unadulterated 70s disco. A Yogi spin for the next few months fo’ sho’ disco people #disco #booogie #estonia #funkembassyrecords #music #realdisco #mfsbclub #myrecordcollection #myrecordrooms #ovo #thegreatdjswindle #sswweekender #properdisco #vinyl #records #vinyljunkie #vinyladdict #recordlover #estonianmusic #discorecords #vinylcollection #recordcollection @ritarayofficial

From my days at Move Records and I completely forgot the label released this. This Boogie album has matured very nicely and could be worth a hunting. Oddly there is only 4 tracks listed on the B side and yet 5 are on the vinyl. I have NO recollection of what happened there with the extra track #bobbybowens #bobbybowensandshadesofmagic #sswweekender #boogiemusic #soulmusic #moverecords #ovo #thegreatdjswindle #myrecordrooms #myrecordcollection #dj #vinyl #vinyljunkie #records #music #vinyllover #funk #modernsoul #soulcollector #allnighter #independentsoul #recordcollector
