For the lovely @shaealexx birthday we did a girl dinner the night before her birthday!!
The inside is something to marvel at so many different sections inside one location!!
I loved all the different areas inside from the entrance to the bathroom!!
Things we ordered:
- Peach Shrimp (8/10): I love peaches and I love shrimp and I LOVE peaches and shrimp!! This meal didn't disappoint it was delicious and I enjoyed every bite for sure!! The Shimp had a good brunch and wasn't rubbery at all!!
- Crazy Rich Rice Noodles (8/10): The portion was a good size and it came in a "gold" pot bowl so you felt fancy to a degree. The flavour was flavoring. Everything was delicious except the cherry tomatoes but I don't like tomatoes unless they've been made into soemthing useful like ketchup lol.
-Onion Cakes (9/10): They were delicious and hit the spot!! The dipping sauce was perfect for the onion cakes!!
-Crispy Wings (8.5/10): I don't well we don"t remember the exact wings that were bought but we do remember they tasted good and were crispy as specified!!
-Chan Bao - Miso Gochujan Butter (9/10): Omg they were so so delicious!! My favorite thing of the night for sure!! Loved every bite it was like biting the most delicious cloud in the universe!! I need to try all of them!!
-Virgin Dragonfruit Margarita (4/10): It just tasted like carbonated water wasn't for me at all or anyone at the table!!
-Mango Lassi (8/10): Every sip was great!! And the drink wasn't too thick or thin if that makes sense
Need to return here again for sure. Get different food and hopefully sit in the movie theater area!! Loved the whole vibe of the place!!

Went to the @tomoartsmrkt this past weekend with some friends, after we went to try @pals_yeg !! I am so happy I finally got to try this sandwhich shop!! I've seen a lot of hype around the place, and guess what, it was worth the hype, at least for me it was!!
What we ordered
BLT (9/10): I love me a good BLT if made correctly, and the one I ordered did not disappoint!! The bacon slices were thick and crispy!! There was the perfect amount of mayo!! Love it so much!!
Focaccia Chicken Club (9/10): Was really good, and the bread was crispy (so be mindful of that if you don't like really crispy bread). If you like focaccia bread and grilled chicken, order this!!
Crispy Chicken Sanwhich (7.75/10): This score was a combined scoring of the 2 friends at the table who ordered it. The flavor was good. The only thing they would change would be that the chicken was a bit dry. Also, mini warning the piece of chicken on this sandwhich is BIG, so be ready to eat!!
Broccoli Chedder Soup (7/10): This is also a combined score of the food based on 2 friends. It was a good soup but nothing to rave home about, but good none the less. There are lots of chunks of cheese throughout, so it depends on how you like your soup if you will like that or not. One more thing one of the friends who ordered found there wasn't enough Broccoli, so I guess it is a gamble with the serving you get.
Fries (8/10): These fries were really good and were giving a semi-rustic fries vibe. They were a good amount of crispy!!
Cheesy Fries (7/10): These fries are really good until they start to cool down, then they become average, so gotta eat them whole they're warm.
Chips (6/10): They were chips, and they were there. That's about all I can say
Peach Sweet Iced Tea (8/10): I'm not sure if this is what it was called but I had this delicious Iced tea that I liked a lot that I ended up ordering a 2nd one!!

I was really excited to try El Mero Mero in Edmonton this weekend. I've seen a lot of hype and excitement around this place. Sadly this time around it just really wasn't for me and my girls. It didn't meet the hype. However perhaps it was just what we ordered.
Things we got:
Birria (6/10): It was decent nothing to go home about, more flavour would have been nice.
Fish Tacos: I won't rate this because no one at the table enjoyed them. The fish was a bit dry.
Arracha Tacos (8/10): These Tacos were good the meat was cooked perfectly and the right consistency.
Fries (8/10): These fries were really good and perfectly crispy!! Loved them!!
Virgin Piña Colada (9/10): This was actually so so tasty one of my favorite Piña Coladas I've tried. The flavour was so sweet and good consistency!!
Agua de Horchata: It was decent, more watered down than I'm used to, but that is probably a me problem, lol.
The service here was really good!! And they didn't charge my friend when she wanted to get the Arracha Tacos because she didn't enjoy her fish Tacos!!
I think maybe I need to try more of the menu but as of right now it isn't the place for me!!

Remembering my BC trip!!
Reminiscing about the OMG sushi roll from @greenleafsushikits
What we ordered:
-OMG Sushi Roll (9/10): These rolls were huge and packed full of flavour!! I took them home, @pilonkrystina tried them and fell in love!!
-Mango Roll: I won't rate this one but I will say it was not for any of us!! It just didn't taste how we expected!! It's an acquired taste that none of us have at all!! It isn't what you imagine a mango roll to be
-Prawn Tempura (8.5/10): Joy thought they were delicious and the perfect amount of crunch!!
-Spicy Crunch Ebi Mayo (8.5/10): These were perfectly crunchy with a good big kick of spiciness!!
I need to return to try more for sure and to have those OMG rolls again!! I still think about those OMG rolls 🤤🤤

My first sit down resturant in Vancouver was @brunchvancouver !!
It is a cute Mexican inspired breakfast brunch spot!! However, ordering we stuck to the gringofied food on the menu. But I did see other people's plate with Mexican inspired breakfasts, and they smelled and looked delicious!!
Orders:
-Monte Cristo Sandwhich: It was delicious!! I'm so glad I ordered it, and since the bread was actually French Toast, the sandwhich was actually delicious to dip in maple syrup!! And the salad on the side was delicious as well!!
-French Toast with Chocolate: Joy ordered the French toast with chocolate and had the whip cream removed. It looked scrumptious, and Joy said it tasted delicious!!
Drinks:
-Chocolate Milk: tasted how you would imagine Chocolate milk to taste
-Grapefruit Juice: It was the perfect amount and mix of sweet and bitter. I loved it!!
I would definitely return to this restaurant for brunch and try more of the Mexican breakfast dishes!!

Last Calgary foodie post for now. We went to @ryuko.yyc for a tiny bit of sushi & some chicken. Had to fill up before our long night of Pitbul and Badlands. We went at happy hour, & they had decent food options for a reasonable price!!
For a drink I ordered:
-Blue Ryuko: I will say this, it was too strong for me!! But it was very pretty!! So if you like the taste of white rum & pretty drinks, this is the one for you. However, it was not the one for me too strong
For food, we ordered:
- Chicken Katsu: I've always wanted to try this at restaurants but never ordered it because it's always been too expensive to buy in case I don't like it. Luckily for me, it was on the happy hour menu for only $16!! It was a good portion as well they don't make the portion smaller because it's happy hour price!! I'm glad I tried it!! It was perfectly crispy & flavourful!! I loved that they put the sauce & sesame seeds on the side & separate that way you could make the sauce how you like it & add as much as you want to the Chicken Katsu. I will be ordering this again at other resturants now that I know it's bomb as well as hopefully returning to this restaurant to have their Chicken Katsu again!!
-Dynamite Roll: These rolls were good, & I thought it was cool how they pre-dipped the rolls because I personally had never seen that before. However, if you only like a hint of avocado in your Dynamite Roll, this isn't the one for you. They are heavy on the avocado!! The avocado is fresh, thick, & there to make a statement!!
-Chicken Karaage: I only tried one piece, but the piece I did try was decent & had the right amount of crunch!! You get a Wasabi mayo, which has the right amount of kick for me personally.
-Ikageso Crunch Roll: For $22 I would have liked consistency throughout the roll. The homemade chips on top and the sauces were perfection and delicious. The roll itself, however, was inconsistent. Some pieces were heavenly & had the right amount of crunch and flavour. Where other pieces were just a battle of chewing & you couldn't enjoy the flavour!! This roll is also heavy on the avacado, which I love!!
I would definitely return here and recommend everyone to go if they can!!
