2. have friends who hype you up like you just opened a real cafe
3. have friends who stay for hours and make themselves at home
4. have friends who are willing to eat/drink everything you make
5. most importantly, surround yourself with people who make you feel like your little dream is worth pursuing

the secret ingredient was never the drinks or the sourdough. as cliche as it sounds, it was the people all along. uwu🤍

special shoutout to my trusted bakers, emilia and tommy 🫶🏻 the only two people who have earned the exclusive invite of bringing their baked goods to the cafe. thank you for helping me bring this little vision to life and making it even more special than i imagined!! paõ de deus (coconut rolls) and pork floss focaccia were all hits ✨

hi, welcome to wun dao (taiwanese: 我們家, our home)🤍

still feeling a little sentimental about this day…homemade sourdough baked goods, endless taiwanese inspired drinks, and so many of my favourite people under one roof.

what started as a little idea in my head somehow turned into a whole week of prepping, 16+ hours of baking, countless trips to the grocery store, and wayyyyyyyy too many dishes.

but then the day came, everyone showed up, and suddenly all the early mornings, flour-covered counters and hours spent in the kitchen felt so worth it.

feeling especially grateful that i get to make the things i love and share them with the people i love. thank you for letting me become a cafe/bakery owner for the day once again 🥐🫶🏻

unfortunately for me but fortunately for you all, I 10/10 would spend a full week stressing over it and do it all again 🥹 same time next year?
