Magical day and privileged to see the best of Royal Ascot from the Royal Enclosure to the Parade Ring as well as a sneak peak into the judges box while race 5 was announced (a highlight!) Well done to Carmers (the horse I bet on which won the Queen’s Vase) and congratulations to @williambuick_official on receiving such esteemed recognition from @princewilliamfamilyroyal

Hold on to your hats, 5 days to go….

A gorgeous morning with @mywardrobe_hq and @sarahkatebyrne at a delicious pre-Ascot brunch. We browsed a stunning Ascot dresses edit of rental gowns, and hats from @sarahcantmillinery and @katbarclaymillinery , followed by a brilliant talk by sustainable stylist- and ITV Racing Stylist and therefore the absolute expert on race dressing- Sarah Kate on styling rental and vintage outfits for the races.
Also with us was gorgeous @florrielondonofficial, I couldn’t capture the loveliness of her shoes on my awful feet, so nicked @orionarobb ’s shot on her much lovelier than mine feet.

It looks like a miracle - but I am not special. I’m recovering at lightening speed from a full hip replacement surgery because I was smart about a few KEY things:
.

1️⃣ I STAYED STRONG 🏋️‍♀️ I lifted heavy weights even while fighting arthritis pain. Skeletal muscle protected my joints and is giving me the fuel I need to recover.
.
2️⃣ I AM SLEEPING 💤 10-12 hours a night. I am letting my body rest. My mom/hubby are doing everything. My friends are bringing me food - I feel so loved I could cry. I am massively unproductive and I don’t care. My body is healing ❤️
.
3️⃣ I HACKED THE PAIN. I have not taken one opioid. I am an ex pharma rep - I know their dangers. They are effective, yet addictive, cause constipation and grogginess. Head to my stories to see what miracle RX I am taking instead. It’s a game changer!
