Lady Lucy Lulu the Lab Fulghum
2012 - 2026

Yesterday we had to make the very difficult decision to put down our dog Lucy. Her full given name was Lady Lucy Lulu the Lab Fulghum. She was named by @pmfulghum & @parker13fulghum when we got her. They were 7 years old and we had every intention of her being a hunting dog. Meanwhile, she had no intentions of that! She had a mind of her own and was the boss of all the dogs. In the last few months it was getting more and more difficult for her to walk but she kept rallying every time we thought she was at the end. Dr Brent at @northairlineanimalhospital gave her a shot a few months ago when she couldn’t walk at all and it helped so much. Then, at Parker’s urging I took her to see Dr Ryan Bates @bateschirosport for doggie chiropractic and it got her to where she would literally run after the cat again! But sadly through all of that she couldn’t get up by herself without someone helping her. I couldn’t bring myself to make the decision even though I knew she wasn’t enjoying her life just sitting there all day waiting for someone to come help her up. I’m so thankful that my kids have grown into such fine men. Peyton helped me make the decision that I knew needed to be made & Parker agreed it had to be done. Then Peyton took her for me so I didn’t have to do it. Lucy was the sweetest, most hard headed dog I’ve ever met. She lived exactly like she wanted to and never hunted a day in her life! She will always hold a special place in our hearts. Lucy is survived by her dog sisters Roxie & Gracie, cat sister Nala, cat nephew Bandit & dog nephew Hayes as well as constant torturer & secret bff, dog aunt Izzie. They are all very sad she is no longer with us but we all know she is now chasing cats over the rainbow bridge 🩷

SIMPLY the Greatest Show!❤️🎩🎪

To express my gratitude for this studio and the family it has given me over the years is nearly impossible to put into words. Through dance, I’ve gained some of my best friends and greatest role models. After 15 years of memories, laughter, and growth, it’s hard to imagine not stepping onto that stage again. While saying goodbye is difficult, I’m so grateful to leave with countless life lessons, lifelong friendships, and memories I will cherish forever. Fifteen years went by way too fast. 💞 @vickisdancers
