How great is it when you walk into your favorite record shop and Mel says “Hi Shepard’s, I got something for you” and pulls out a record we have never seen before. Everyone that know’s Kim, understands her love for Tom Petty, including Mel’s Record Shop. Of course we had to celebrate the great find Brewery Silvaticus, our favorite brewery! Spent a few hours in Amesbury Saturday - it was such a gorgeous day FINALLY! ☀️ Stopped by to say hi to Hannah at @looksbylopezbtq. She has such a beautiful boutique be sure to check it out (there or online!) ✨ Next @barkingdogamesbury to grab lunch & a cocktail. Love my Dogmospolitan! I got my favorite Barking BLT & he had the chicken bowl (think KFC) All was delicious! Stopped by @leeandcostore so many great finds here I could spend all day! But next a stop by @melsrecordshop. I pretty much talked about how I had all of the these records are cassettes at some point in my life. So many memories! Then couldn’t leave town without beers at @brewery_silvaticus! The FIFA World Cup games had just kicked off so caught some of it there ⚽️. Then back on the bus to Newburyport. Did you know @mevatransit is free! The 19 and the 20 buses can shuttle you around Newburyport to Amesbury or Salisbury and back - why drive when you can travel for free! And the bus stops have such cool art work right now. I learned they are by @jarndt_art & @katedelaney - beautiful work! Our bus stops back at the train station so to @metzyscantina OF COURSE! A couple of coconut margaritas to finish the day! Still soo many things to do & eat in Amesbury so I’ll be back soon! #portlife #amesbury #supportlocal #northshore #newburyport

What an amazing turnout at Amesbury Days Kids Night in the Millyard last night! We had an incredible time with you all and are still smiling from such a fun, wholesome evening.

A huge thank you to Mel’s Record Shop for their generous support as our title sponsor!

We also want to give a massive shoutout to all of the amazing vendors and organizations who joined us and brought such awesome activities to the event. You all made the night special!

Our first-ever kids’ joke contest hosted by Mike’d Up Comedy Productions was an absolute blast. More than 30 kiddos stepped up to the microphone and had us (and themselves) cracking up. Amesbury has some future stand-up comedians in the making!

Thank you to everyone who came out and made it such a great night!

Two of the four kids headed downtown with us today to celebrate at the Amesbury pride festival!

We saw so many friends, and enjoyed this beautiful day together.

We loved getting our faces drawn on the community mural on Market Street! What a cool way to bring the community together.

@amesburydays is such a special week in our little city!
