About 4-5 years ago, the twins @dopernorteria and I came with up with timeless music, an ep that we titled lemonade stand. Titled lemonade stand with the goal of turning the trauma of life’s ‘lemons’ not just into ‘lemonade’ but a ‘lemonade stand’ , a platform, our platforms to help others heal of their childhood wounds. Healed mine for sure. Shout out to yall, never knew I had this much creativity in me. Yall are goats for pulling people’s sounds out of them. Shout out to my mother, always amazed how close we get when God wants me to ironically birth something into the world. Man, you did such a great job of raising my siblings and I to be go getters achieving anything you put your mind to. You really got a doctorate degree having 5 kids, getting 2 masters degrees previously, a bachelor’s degree while having me going through the traumas of love (like most of us have gone through). That’s something that we all need time for ourselves to heal from. You couldn’t heal alone from any of your love wounds because you had me. You were taking care of my sister and I literally as you were taking care of your own heart. Anything I expected unfairly out of you while you were healing, please forgive me. You did amazing with what you had. As I’m typing this literally right now, I’m beyond thankful for every sacrifice you made for me that I took for granted. You saying I’m going to realize one day, that you did the best at what you could do with me based on your situation was going to hit me hard one day. Today is that day. I understand all this so much now. Really you are a token. My God 😪 how hard was I on you? smh. Forgive me… Truly. You are really just a human being. Any judgement, I’ve ever gave to you. Forgive me truly. Please replace it with honor right now that I have for you. I want you to know I really feel like you are super woman. And I really meant that when I wrote it in our song, “Joy in Knowing” (Rest of caption in comments) Link in Bio
