FISH is *EXTENDED*, through Nov 1 🐠🛍️ It’s a sugar rush and a shock to the system in 83 min of swimming and shopping and people trying to understand each other and a crime so outrageous/genius only teenage girls could have come up with it (and in 2016?? a group of them did for real!!). It’s a story I’ve never seen onstage before and it was made by all of my favorite people. Get your tickets see you there!!!!🩵🩵🩵 📸 1-7: @joanmarcus , 8: @valnovaphotography FISH by @melvishmelvin dir by @tatianapandianii @wptheater + @signatureinnyc + @newlighttheaterproject + @noortheatre Scenic design: @finckele Lighting design : @rza_behjat , assoc: @hopedebelius Costume design : @zoaynotzoey Hair design : @caitlinmolloy.hair Props: @emmarosegcampbell Intimacy: @judilewo Dialect coach: @atticus.orsborn PSM: @baisre ASM: @morgiegrant Crew: @petriciahall Wardrobe Supervisor: @sirpo519

On this day, October 10th, 2022, PlayCo and co-producer @arsnovanyc unveiled the world premiere of HOUND DOG, which follows a young musician returning from abroad to her hometown of Ankara to look after her widowed father. Through our co-productions with Ars Nova, including THE WILDNESS in 2016, we expanded our palette by introducing live music into theatre. This time we had the privilege of producing work by Melis Aker and The Lazours, and the project marked our second collaboration with Turkish-American musician and composer Avi Amon. Join us all year as PlayCo celebrates a quarter century's worth of global productions. Click our link in bio to learn more and support "inter-national" theatre in NYC.
