In the daytime, it's a picture of chaos and hustle colliding like two armies. Before they emerge as friends at the end of the day.

Here is the film we made for @step2words_ last year. It is a bts of how theatre can be integrated into the school curriculum. Since English is the medium of instruction accross India yet not the lingua Franca or the thinking language of most students. It is important for students in their academic journey to understand and engage with what they study. It was refreshing to see sincere efforts of @samridhi_nair and her team, using theatre form in bridging the gap between visual thinking, language and studies.
No better DP to shoot this than @memory_chor One of those projects which is real and leaves you feel content. I must say there's no content in making content.

Children in our classrooms aren’t just memorizing lines. They are finding their voice, their strength, and their confidence. Our recent theatre production revealed the power that emerges when arts, social-emotional learning, and literacy come together.

This short film takes you into their world - how they see drama, how we see art, and what we can build together for India.

Chapter 5: First Quarter — Stuck Between Here and There

A Villanelle from 16 Shades of Lunar 🌗

The moon doesn’t rush,
and neither should you.
This chapter lingers in the space between momentum and meaning—
where not moving forward might just be preparation.

🎵 Suggested soundtrack: “Vienna” – Billy Joel
📖 From the S.O.L. Trilogy

“Maybe the moon knew something we don’t—
that every phase was just a preparation for the next.
And maybe being stuck was not failure—
it was just a quiet reminder to breathe before the next step,
and ask yourself,
‘Are you happy?’”

🚆 kuuuuuuuuu!
Some moments don’t echo until much later.
Chapter 4 of 16 S.O.L. takes you on a journey through trains, temples, missed keys, and moonlit bridges—where time doesn’t pass, it ripples.

Pair it with: Time in a Bottle – Jim Croce
Style: Journal Entry
Mood: Waxing, wandering, wondering.

Read. Listen. Feel.
