“Avengers: Endgame” (2019) is an epic superhero film directed by Anthony and Joe Russo and written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. Featuring a massive ensemble cast led by Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, and Jeremy Renner, the Marvel Studios production served as the grand culmination of the 22-film "Infinity Saga". The story begins in the bleak aftermath of Avengers: Infinity War, where the intergalactic warlord Thanos erased half of all life in the universe using the Infinity Stones. Five years after their devastating failure, the surviving Avengers live in a broken, grief-stricken world. The static reality breaks when Scott Lang (Ant-Man) escapes the Quantum Realm and brings a wild proposition to Tony Stark and Steve Rogers: time within the Quantum Realm behaves differently, potentially opening a way to travel back into the past. The central narrative tracks the remaining heroes as they assemble for a desperate "time heist." Splitting into teams, they travel to key moments in their shared past—2012 New York, 2013 Asgard, and 2014 Morag/Vormir—to retrieve all six Infinity Stones before Thanos ever acquired them. However, when the 2014 variant of Thanos uncovers their plot through a shared memory network between past and present Nebulas, he follows them back to the present day, bringing his armadas to destroy Earth entirely. The climax culminates in a monumental battle outside the destroyed Avengers headquarters, bringing every restored hero together for one final stand. The movie focuses heavily on themes of grief, sacrifice, legacy, moving forward from failure, and finding personal peace. It serves as a tribute to a decade of cinematic storytelling, resolving character arcs built across dozens of films.

“Better Call Saul” is an American legal crime drama television series created by Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould, starring Bob Odenkirk, Rhea Seehorn, Jonathan Banks, Patrick Fabian, Michael Mando, Tony Dalton, and Giancarlo Esposito. The show is a tragic, meticulously crafted story about identity, ambition, and the slow, heartbreaking transformation of a well-meaning underdog into a morally bankrupt criminal lawyer. The story revolves around Jimmy McGill, a struggling small-time public defender in Albuquerque living in the shadow of his brilliant, highly respected older brother, Chuck McGill. Soon he realizes that playing by the rules and seeking Chuck's approval yields little success or respect in the legal world. Instead of accepting a mediocre legal career, Jimmy devises unusual proposals and colorful shortcuts to build his clientele and win cases. Jimmy pursues his legal ambitions alongside his confidante and love interest, Kim Wexler, guided by his natural hustle and sharp salesmanship. Curious about establishing himself as a formidable lawyer, Jimmy repeatedly walks the fine line between creative lawyering and outright scamming, eventually adopting the flashy alter ego "Saul Goodman" to cater to low-level criminals and dangerous cartel clients. The legal community reluctantly tolerates his unorthodox methods, allowing his influence to spill over into Albuquerque's dark underworld.

“The Boys” (2019–present) is an acclaimed satirical superhero drama series developed by Eric Kripke. Starring Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Chace Crawford, and Laz Alonso, the show is based on the Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson comic book series. Produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television, the hit series offers a darkly cynical, ultra-violent, and sharply satirical deconstruction of superhero media and modern American politics. The story revolves around a world where individuals with superpowers—known as "Supes"—are celebrated as gods and managed by Vought International, a corrupt, multi-billion-dollar conglomerate. Vought monetizes these heroes through movies, merchandise, and political lobbying while covering up their horrific collateral damage and moral depravity. The flagship team, "The Seven," is led by Homelander, an insecure, narcissistically sociopathic Superman-esque figure who harbors a deep contempt for unpowered humans. The central narrative tracks Hughie Campbell, an ordinary audio technician whose girlfriend is accidentally pulverized by the speedster A-Train. Devastated and seeking accountability, Hughie is recruited by Billy Butcher, a ruthless, foul-mouthed vigilante with a personal vendetta against Homelander. Together with Mother's Milk, Frenchie, and Kimiko, "The Boys" form a CIA-backed ragtag squad dedicated to exposing Vought's darkest secrets—including "Compound V," the pharmaceutical drug secretly injected into infants to manufacture superpowers. The conflict escalates into an all-out covert war as Butcher's team uses extortion, tactics, and morally grey weapons to bring down an increasingly unhinged, dictator-like Homelander.

“Prisoners” (2013) is a dark psychological thriller directed by Denis Villeneuve and written by Aaron Guzikowski. Starring Hugh Jackman, Jake Gyllenhaal, Viola Davis, Maria Bello, Terrence Howard, Melissa Leo, and Paul Dano, the film is a masterclass in tension, exploring the lengths a parent will go to protect their child. The story revolves around Keller Dover, a devout, survivalist carpenter in suburban Pennsylvania whose six-year-old daughter, Anna, and her friend, Joy, vanish without a trace on Thanksgiving Day. Detective Loki, a meticulous and undefeated investigator, is assigned to the case and quickly arrests Alex Jones, a young man with the mental age of a child, who was seen driving an RV parked near the girls' house. The central narrative escalates when the police are forced to release Alex due to a complete lack of physical evidence. Convinced of Alex's guilt, a desperate and grief-stricken Keller kidnaps Alex and locks him in an abandoned building, subjecting him to brutal torture to extract a confession. Meanwhile, Detective Loki follows a dark maze of leads, uncovering a bizarre history of local child abductions linked to maze motifs, dead bodies in basements, and a sinister local urban legend. As Loki closes in on the complex truth behind the disappearances, Keller’s relentless violence threatens to destroy his own moral compass. The narrative hurtles toward a chilling revelation involving Alex’s seemingly harmless aunt, Holly Jones, uncovering a twisted, decades-long crusade against faith and innocence.

Originally debuting on Lifetime before becoming a flagship Netflix Original, the series offers a darkly satire-infused character study on modern romance, obsession, and toxicity. The story revolves around Joe Goldberg, a quiet, intensely bookish bookstore manager who harbors a deeply dangerous secret: under the guise of an earnest, romantic savior, he is a predatory stalker and serial killer.
