HEAD MOLT “Tape Music For Baby” PCR 04 out NOW! Extremely limited copies on blue lathe cut vinyl by @littleelephantcustomvinyl available on our bcamp

An album of recordings spanning 20 years from @ratward and co

When Gary first sent these recordings I’d woken up on the wrong side of the bed. With a dark heaviness lingering I pressed play and within seconds the bad vibes were eradicated. A true energy blast from one of the coolest creatives in Virginia! Thanks for letting us be part of this special release 💎

Mutwawa - Hand Slips Away (2014)

Recently unearthed this unreleased Mutwawa track. Recorded live to tape at Auxiliary in Richmond VA sometime during 2014. Jason Hodges on keys, drum machine, sampler, effects pedals and Gary Stevens on vocals, mic feedback, oscillator, drum machine, rack synth, effects pedals. There may or may not be a collection of lost Mutwawa material in the works?!

A.S.D. - Auto Self Disgust CDR (AE119)

Edition of 23 hand numbered discs packaged in photocopied sleeves wrapped in packing tape. Listen and download the digital version for free, or pay what you want. Throw in a buck or three to show support. LINK IN BIO

"Primitive and punishing harsh noise filth. Improvised and recorded live to tape without much thought or concern for quality. Minimal effort, maximum disgust.

Contact microphones, no input signal, Boss ODB-3 bass overdrive, Boss DS-2 turbo distortion, two Boss DD-5 digital delay pedals and an Electrix EQ killer. Recorded at various times during 2020. Track 3 was chopped up a little bit just for fun but everything else left as is or just mixed down adjusting the speed of the cassette player."

Action Research 48 (a pre-International Noise Conference show) on February 10, 2010 at the short lived S. Main Community Arts Center (SMArts) in Gainesville, FL. Half of the show happened in Display (the space which now houses @frenchmen_street_food ) & the other half in Citizens Co-op grocery store that was in progress of being stocked & developed (in the space that now houses @somagnv ). There was as a door between the two spaces — it’s walked through n a video montage in the playlist for AR48. This show was for artists heading to INC in Miami. Mincemeat Or Tenspeed didn’t play but Drip Castles & Ironing did. A few vertical photos: (2) Human Beast (3) Rrind (4) Work/Death . Video documentation exists on the Action Research YouTube — link in bio — look for the playlist as some of the videos aren’t on my channel. This is when I was between camcorders so didn’t get as much as I would’ve liked. #actionresearchfl #chadwickarchives #experimentalmusic #noisemusic #workdeath #humanbeast
