“A man will stain your white cloth”. “If a man hates you, they’ll get married to you”. These are phrases I refuse to accept to be true. Men are good humans.

You should never outgrow a scripture, no matter how familiar it becomes. 📌 Sometimes, we lose the understanding and revelation in the Word when we read it from muscle memory rather than with deep consciousness.

Let’s recite Psalm 23 again. We recited it so easily as kids, but now as adults, this is the season when we appreciate divine direction, guidance, provision, and protection even more. Don’t get too familiar with the Word or the ways of God. Sometimes, the scripture you think you already know is the one you need to understand again.

Make sure there's at least one area in your life where you're constantly growing.

Stay with that toxic boss

Having a difficult boss can be frustrating, especially when their attitude starts affecting how you feel about your work. But not every difficult work relationship requires you need to immediately quit or walk away.

Sometimes, there is something to learn in knowing how to work with difficult personalities, understand their patterns, and still remain professional. Of course, there are situations where leaving is necessary. But wisdom is knowing the difference between a situation you need to leave and one you need to learn how to navigate.

find that thin line between being inspired by someone else’s story and actually seeking God’s guidance for your own.

your path has its own voice. And it sounds nothing like anyone else’s. 🤍

I think about how many of us are doing this right now. Not just in school. In new jobs, new cities, new churches. Anywhere we feel like an outsider, we rush to find our people before we have even had the chance to find ourselves in that new space first.

The loneliness of being new somewhere is temporary. It passes faster than you think. But a wrong friendship, one you chose out of fear instead of genuine connection, that can quietly cost you so much more than the loneliness ever would have.

Your people will find you. But only if you give them the chance to. 🤍

Have you ever rushed into a friendship in a new space and later realised they were never really your people? Tell me in the comments 👇
