First race ticked off! 🏃‍♂️💜

Had the best time running the ASICS LDNX 10K @ldnxwembley with my friend Amelia! It was definitely a lot hillier than expected but somehow still managed to come away with PBs for both my 5K and 10K!

I also took the opportunity to wear my @meningitis_research vest, a charity that means so much to me. 💜 Being able to wear their name and help spread awareness of the incredible work they do is something I’m really grateful for, and I’m excited to continue supporting them throughout my running journey.

With more races already booked and plenty more miles to go, this is only the beginning! All building towards one huge goal… the TCS London Marathon 2027! 26.2 miles for a cause close to my heart.

I just want to say thank you so much to anyone who donated online, shared, and came to my fundraising event on Friday. It makes me so happy to see my friends and family and even just people who follow me care about something that is so important to me.
All the money raised online and from my event on Friday will be donated to Meningitis Research Foundation.
They fund vital medical research, raises public awareness, and provides direct support to individuals and families affected by meningitis and septicaemia worldwide.

One day a cure will be found for this horrible disease, and that will be a good fucking day.

OFFICIALLY A MARATHONER :,))

My first official race and marathon DONE! It was such an incredible experience that I will truly cherish forever…! SO much to take away from this day/marathon, but one huge one is that - you are ALWAYS stronger than your mind/thoughts. There were many times my mind kept telling me I couldn’t keep going (especially once I hit the 30km mark)… I physically was hurting SO BAD and felt so fatigued but I dug deep and somehow pushed through all the mental blocks telling me to stop and made it to the finish line at 3:47!!!! 🥹🙏 You CAN do hard things & truly anything you put your mind to!! 👊♥️

Eternally grateful for all the voice notes I received along the way 🥺 I cannot express enough how much each of them meant to me… thank you my loving friends and family ♥️

I’m also forever grateful for @runna for this marathon training plan! Although the training leading up to this day was so challenging, I just knew that it would all be worth it at the end (AND IT WAS!!! 🥹)

Lastly I’d like to express my gratitude to everyone who donated to help support the Meningitis Research Foundation charity. Thank you for being part of something so important and helping make a difference! 💜✨

As the seasons change, it feels like a good time to pause, turn inward and give ourselves a little room to simply be.
