#selfportrait n. #22 .
Un vecchio #autoritratto. Quando ancora credevo che la #pittura potesse vivere solo dentro il mio #studio. Forse era meglio allora. Almeno è un #antidoto.

"Oil and tempera on canvas, mixed media with fabric. Canvas mounted on a frame, also
painted on the edges, ready to be hung on the wall.
Frame not needed. It represents the condition and social dynamics of modern society .... Date and

Mennato Tedesco @mennatotedesco

“My paintings are born from a multitude of suggestions, which, after filtering, become the themes of my works.
My pictorial inspiration is through a style that can be classified as "modernist figurative neo-expressionism.
I am fascinated by social dynamics, my characters show a marked irreverence for behavior driven by consumerism and modernity.
I like to intervene in the canvas by adding different materials such as plastic, duct tape, fabrics, etc.”
