The moment a narcissist realizes they can no longer manipulate you, guilt you, confuse you, or control the narrative… the “nice” version of them disappears.

That’s when the bitterness shows up.

✅ Not because you harmed them.
✅ Not because you’re toxic.
✅ Not because you’re the problem.

It’s because you saw through the mask they worked so hard to protect.

A narcissist depends on image management. They need people to believe the version of themselves they’ve carefully created (and delusional believe in their mind). The second you stop buying into the illusion, you become a threat, especially to their ego.

And threats get punished.

That’s why survivors are often shocked by the sudden coldness, smear campaigns, rage, silent treatment, or hatred that follows boundaries, distance, or clarity.

You didn’t “change.” You just stopped playing the role they assigned to you.

The truth is this:

Healthy people may not always like hearing the truth, but narcissists feel exposed by it.

Have you ever noticed how differently they treated you once they realized you figured them out?

Save this post for the days you start questioning yourself again. ❤️

Please go watch my interview where Lee Hammock of Mental Healness, interviewed me about the narcissistic abuse I experienced. This conversation is raw, honest and meant to bring awareness to what survivors actually endure. This interview reflects my personal experience.
No names are used, and no identities are being confirmed or discussed.
This conversation is about awareness and healing not speculation. #narcissist #narcissisticabusesurvivor #domesticviolence

In this powerful video, a Talmadge Spicer shares a deeply personal moment, an "epiphany" that led to a desire for a "better life." He discusses how this realization sparked his journey into "personal development" and "personal growth." His story is a testament to "self discovery" and the profound "wisdom" gained from facing life's toughest challenges.

Welcome to the MENTAL HEALNESS PODCAST! Hosted by Lee Hammock, a self-aware, diagnosed narcissist who has been in psychotherapy for over 9 years! On this podcast, we cover all things MENTAL HEALTH RELATED, from your own personal struggles with mental health, to surviving the mental health issues that someone else has that you may have been a victim of.

I absolutely love what I do and I love helping other people as well. Having Narcissistic personality disorder myself, I know how difficult navigating the world can be when you are having issues with your own mental health. Suffering in silence is what I did for so long but now I'm trying to help other people by giving them a platform to share their stories as well!

If you are hear for my content about narcissistic abuse, you will still find that type of content here as well! I'm not going anywhere because using my platform I've been able to help thousands of people deal with narcissists and understand how the minds of narcissistic people can work. I still do my Zoom calls and I still have my courses and support groups available as well.

Here's the full quote:

"I told you once that I was searching for the nature of evil. I think I've come close to defining it: a lack of empathy. It's the one characteristic that connects all the defendants. A genuine incapacity to feel with their fellow man. Evil, I think, is the absence of empathy."

-G. M. Gilbert

I can't agree more. What do you think?

On a side note: The irony that this quote came from the Nuremberg trials is not lost of me, or anyone for that matter, considering what we are witnessing real time in today's geopolitical landscape. IYKYK.
