POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Jeremy and I won the first prize at the AI hackathon hosted by @a16z and @elevenlabsio ! So happy!! I focused on product and design and front end, and Jeremy focused on everything back end!

I am super proud of what Jeremy built - you give him a book and it correctly breaks down each character ( even the random person making an exclamation or odd remark ), and it allows you to make your own cast for the narration!

You can assign a voice for each character, but we imagined even further: you’re free to record your own voice for ~30 minutes and have a professional voice of yours in any story as any character.

So for example parents can insert their own child as the main character and themselves as other narrators. Lots of possibilities, and it’s your choice.

I’ll make another post ( most probably reel ) showcasing the MVP we’ve built with the sound on so that you can listen to the audio of the stories. In the meantime check the second video in the post.

It was a really good experience: @elevenlabsio offices were awesome and their team is rockstar. Their product is great. Oh and the food was super nice, my brain was well fed 😂 Everything was such a perfect setting to hack away. Congratulations to everyone involved !

We also met wonderful people -you know who you are!

Our startup @privatecollectorsclub went to Paris and it was... Hectic! So much was to be done within a short time frame. @mentioum and I coded relentlessly before the event - to the point where Jeremy was still there at 9am at the office when I came back after 2 hours sleep! *

Much more is to be done this week but it was good to meet with people in the industry and get to know more about the car world. *

Back to it 🤘 *

Happy coding 🤗💓💪

Very happy to have been able to present Atomic design with react and typescript at ReactJS Girls event in London earlier this week. Can't believe that Dan Abramov was in the audience , 😱😍✨✨✨
* I will work on polishing my slides a bit more so I can publish them on my GitHub page (the appendix needs to be done properly). The talk has been filmed and will be put online, so I'll share the link if people are interested :)
* Super proud of the engineering practices we've been adopting at @privatecollectorsclub , my mentor is an incredible person inside out to work with and we are a very lucky team! @mentioum , thank you for all the daily advice, help and feedback. 🤘

Happy coding everyone 🤗💛✨

I loved joining the Golang community yesterday! I had tried to come to the first Golang meetup in London last month but it was sold out. This time I made sure to RSVP as soon as the event was announced on Meetup !⁣
⁣
First talk was about all what actually goes inside of the Go compiler - the "black box". Hardly no one knows what's happening there so it was cool to get a glimpse to the magic behind !⁣
⁣
Second talk -loved it. The speaker enhanced Google search of cities for flights : it returned the right suggestions when misspelled using fuzzy string search techniques such as the Ngram method. Something that truly makes a whole difference on the use experience !⁣
⁣
Third talk was great for someone like me who has just only got started with Golang, as it's super useful to know : it demistified fuzzing tools. Unit testing more than often actually is not enough. Especially when using third party libraries or code !! ⁣
⁣
Thank you Zach Jones, Alexander Petrov and Roberto Clapis (speakers)! #gophers #londongophers ⁣

Yesterday I had the chance to be driven by our incredibly talented @charlesclegg on the 𝘚𝘪𝘭𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘊𝘪𝘳𝘤𝘶𝘪𝘵 as he raced for the first time his 𝘈𝘊 𝘊𝘰𝘣𝘳𝘢! Thank you Charlie ❤️⁣
⁣
𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝 - 𝐈 𝐚𝐦 𝐚𝐛𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐞𝐝 and this is something that I'll need to tackle as it's what stops me from trying to drive -alongside my clumsiness 🤦🏼‍♀️⁣
⁣
Charlie is such a beast, however , that I knew I could relax and enjoy - 𝘐 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘢𝘴𝘬 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘵𝘰 "𝘴𝘭𝘰𝘸 𝘥𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘢 𝘣𝘪𝘵" at a corner but I didn't scream or anything 😅😂 ⁣
⁣
𝐌𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐚𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 : 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐦 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐜𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐮𝐦𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 , 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐩r𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧. ⁣
⁣
Jeremy and Charlie B also shared this experience and we were all mindblown. (@mentioum @charlieb.photography )⁣
⁣
On this note of adrenaline , I wish you a great weekend ! ❤️ ⁣
⁣
𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 🥰🥰⁣

Before coding, it is crucial to do a lot of background work on what the people you are building the company for really want. It may seem obvious - but a lot of products out there overlook some of the very critical things that people need and desire.
I haven't yet announced here what we are currently building nor introduced you to the team, but today, the @salonpriveuk event was a perfect opportunity to talk to part of the classic car community, and get a glimpse of their passion, which they kindly shared with me. Thank you @mathercollectables for today. !

Stay tuned 🔥
