When I was making this, I wanted it to tell a story.

First thing that came to mind; a tree.
But not just any tree. One rooted in love.
That’s why the heart is at the center, it gives the tree life.
That heart? It represents God; the one who gives this tree life.

From there, the branches growww, extends, strong, stretching out like purpose.
The different shapes above lined with stones; They’re the fruits; results of love, and growth.
Every detail was intentional. Even the fire on the sleeves, showing that this love is alive, burning, but not destructive.

Royalties, This isn’t just style. It’s a message.

The Dress That Carried My Heart🥹

When I was planning my wedding, I already knew how I wanted my wedding dress to be. I had a clear picture in my heart, of the bride I wanted to be, of the dress I wanted to wear. I wanted something that looked like me, felt like me, and spoke even before I did.

So I started. I was so intentional, even from the LACE. I didn’t even want beading on it. I wanted something different, embroidered and strong sort of.

Along the way, those thoughts came:
“It’s just one day, don’t do too much.”
“You’re only going to wear it for a few hours.”
“Just make something simple and move on.”

Looool. Do I look like simple? 😭
If you know me, you know “EXTRA” lives in my blood 😂

The base came together smoothly. But then I got to the bottom part, the part that would make this gown unforgettable 🥹
And that part tested me, no be small o.

I thought and thought about how to go about it.

Then the Holy Spirit whispered: “Do it this way.”

Omooo! Immediately, I called one of my girls “Bring my book and pen!” I started sketching. Then I began practicing with pieces materials. The first try didn’t look like it at all.
But He said, “Continue.”
Guys, I’m not even capping I almost gave up lol
And By the time I was halfway through, I was like, “JESUS! This is ittttt!” 😭
I even had to go back to the market to get more fabric.
The stress? A LOT!!!!
I started and finished the dress all by myself because it meant so much to me.
And when I wore that dress, I didn’t just wear Kempire.
I wore a piece of my heart.

And I wouldn’t change a thing!!😌🔥
