The year is 2028. Botley's demise looms, its once-vibrant streets now a lawless wasteland; its people, forgotten. None could have guessed the railway bridge closure would birth such chaos.

Amidst the ruins, a lone bastion: @tapsocialtaproom A sanctuary for the defiant. From the Seacourt Tower zenith, elites sneer at the ‘snowflakes’ down below, unaware of the rekindling rebellion brewing beneath their feet.

Invoking long-forgotten customs, Deep Cover's BOXING DAY BASH signals an uprising—a desperate bid for unity in the ashes of a shattered world. And a great opportunity to ditch your family for a bit after Christmas.

But will our heroes make it in time?

All sorts of wonderful things, that's what! Here's what we've got planned at @tapsocialtaproom and @tapsocialwhitehouse from 7 - 12 July.

𝗙𝗿𝗶 𝟳 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆: With strong roots in hill country blues and Americana, 𝗥𝗲𝘃 𝗙𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆'𝘀 original music has a low down dirty blues sound guided by electric guitar riffs, sliding melodies, and foot percussion. @tapsocialtaproom. 𝘖𝘱𝘦𝘯 4𝘱𝘮, 𝘮𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘤 8𝘱𝘮. 𝘍𝘳𝘦𝘦 𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘺.

𝗦𝗮𝘁: Coming in HOT following its blistering Mayday mashup, @deepcoveruk operatives are well-rested and tooled up for their latest dance floor detonators. Rumour has it bossman @its.big.si will be gracing the decks for a special extended set accompanied by none other than @effibrooks, who is fresh off launching her very own powerhouse Oxford collective @meraki.audio. @tapsocialtaproom. 𝘖𝘱𝘦𝘯 2𝘱𝘮, 𝘮𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘤 8𝘱𝘮. 𝘍𝘳𝘦𝘦 𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘺.

𝗦𝘂𝗻: The Oxford Comedy Festival's month-long Sunday night residency at @tapsocialwhitehouse continues with a special double bill featuring @_latkinson_ at 7:30pm followed by @itswilliamstone at 9pm. Tickets are scarce! @tapsocialwhitehouse. 𝘋𝘰𝘰𝘳𝘴 7𝘱𝘮. 𝘛𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘦𝘵𝘴 𝘷𝘪𝘢 @𝘸𝘦𝘨𝘰𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘦𝘵𝘴.

𝗠𝗼𝗻: We then return to @tapsocialtaproom as The Oxford Comedy Festival brings us @derekscottmitchell and @kolga300 for the first of two double stand-up comedy bills. 𝘋𝘰𝘰𝘳𝘴 6:30𝘱𝘮. 𝘛𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘦𝘵𝘴 𝘷𝘪𝘢 @𝘸𝘦𝘨𝘰𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘦𝘵𝘴.

𝗪𝗲𝗱 𝟭𝟮 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆: As for the second one? We've got none other than @stuartlawscomedy and @chloepetts on the Comedy Fest stage! 𝘋𝘰𝘰𝘳𝘴 6:30𝘱𝘮. 𝘛𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘦𝘵𝘴 𝘷𝘪𝘢 @𝘸𝘦𝘨𝘰𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘦𝘵𝘴.

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗶𝘇𝘇𝗮 fires hand-stretched sourdough pizzas Friday and Saturday at the taproom, plus at all Oxford Comedy Festival gigs in July. 🍕

😎 𝐖𝐄𝐄𝐊𝐄𝐍𝐃 𝐕𝐈𝐁𝐄𝐒 🍻

Because it wouldn't be the first weekend of June without Tap Social in your life, let's hit a few highlights of the next few days.

𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬 𝟏 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞: It's that time for quizmaster extraordinaires Billy and Hugo to test your knowledge of random things like only they can at the oft imitated, never duplicated 𝐓𝐚𝐩 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐮𝐛 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐳 at the taproom. 𝐻𝑎𝑝𝑝𝑦 𝐻𝑜𝑢𝑟 5𝑝𝑚 - 7𝑝𝑚, 𝑞𝑢𝑖𝑧 7:30𝑝𝑚. 𝐹𝑟𝑒𝑒 𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑟𝑦, 𝑞𝑢𝑖𝑧 £1 𝑖𝑛 𝑐𝑎𝑠ℎ 𝑝/𝑝, 𝑚𝑎𝑥 6/𝑡𝑒𝑎𝑚.

𝐅𝐫𝐢: Ring in a new era of Oxfordshire electronica at the @meraki.audio 𝐋𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐲! Seven DJs take to the taproom wheelz of steel to get things hoppin' with d 'n' b, garage, house, and breaks. 𝑂𝑝𝑒𝑛 4𝑝𝑚, 𝐻𝑎𝑝𝑝𝑦 𝐻𝑜𝑢𝑟 4𝑝𝑚 - 7𝑝𝑚, 𝑚𝑢𝑠𝑖𝑐 6𝑝𝑚. 𝐹𝑟𝑒𝑒 𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑟𝑦.

𝐒𝐚𝐭: At @thecoveredmarketoxford, Oxfordshire singer-songwriter @brookellingworthmusic brings authentic country music to the @tapsocialmarkettap stage with a free show from 7pm.

At @tapsocialtaproom we've got two cans of Tap Social core beers + pizza for £12 until 6pm. Later, DJs Neo & Phraser mix classic disco gems with new club-rattling tracks at 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨 𝐃𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐓𝐚𝐩. There might even be a cheeky bit of house later on... 𝑂𝑝𝑒𝑛 2𝑝𝑚, 𝑚𝑢𝑠𝑖𝑐 8𝑝𝑚. 𝐹𝑟𝑒𝑒 𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑟𝑦.

𝐒𝐮𝐧: It's a laid-back 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐒𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 at the taproom with games, good tunes, great beer, and excellent company. 12𝑝𝑚 - 6𝑝𝑚. 𝐹𝑟𝑒𝑒 𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑟𝑦.

Not to be outdone, @tapsocialwhitehouse has delish Sunday roasts from 12pm, then stick around for the 𝐒𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐅𝐨𝐥𝐤 𝐒𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, which goes down every first Sunday of the month.

𝐌𝐨𝐧: It's the first of four consecutive Monday night 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐋𝐞𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐲 taproom showcases! Hosted by @andrewoneillcomedy, who's set to appear in the TV series Good Omens later this year, tonight is an open-mic comedy night with a house band, DJ, and more. Wahoo! 𝐷𝑜𝑜𝑟𝑠 7𝑝𝑚. 𝐹𝑟𝑒𝑒 𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑟𝑦.
