It’s an honour to be trusted with someone’s surrender

Think about what it takes to walk into a room full of strangers, lie down on a mat, and let someone you barely know guide you somewhere you’ve never been

That takes courage. It takes trust, and a real commitment to your own growth.

Breathwork asks you to go beneath the surface

To drop past the noise of everyday life and meet the parts of yourself you usually keep hidden.

It asks you to be vulnerable. To open your heart, let yourself feel, and be fully seen

Holding space for that is something I never take lightly.

Last Sunday I guided another incredible group at The Practice. Most people walked in as strangers, to me and to each other

By the time they left, there was a deep sense of connection and gratitude in the room 🙏🏾

For me, leading breathwork is an act of service. It’s one of the most meaningful ways I know how to contribute

I never know exactly what someone will take home from a session

For one person it’s clarity
For another it’s a release, a moment of forgiveness, or simply peace

Sometimes it’s remembering something about themselves they had forgotten.

What I do know is that it doesn’t end when they leave the room

When someone reconnects with themselves, the people closest to them feel it too

Their partner, their kids, their friends, the people they work with.

And honestly, I receive as much from these sessions as anyone I guide

Thank you to everyone who showed up on Sunday. I’m grateful for your trust, your courage, and your willingness to let go

To say last night was incredible is an understatement.

Breathwork and dinner at @thepracticetoronto with @zarakfatah

I’ve done Zarak’s breathwork session before, but this time felt different. This time I made the choice to really surrender to the experience ~ which, is not always an easy thing for me to do.

It felt SO good to just let the weight go.

My body felt completely different. My mind was calm. And when it was all over, I just felt… PEACE.

Then there was dinner. The food was incredible, but so were the beautiful souls sitting around the table. The conversations weren’t surface level. They were real, deep and meaningful, real connection.

I really needed the time and space last night, and I’m so glad I gave myself the gift of the evening.

Sometimes you don’t realize how much you’re carrying until you finally put it down.

Yesterday was nothing short of magic. ✨
I attended a transformative breathwork event hosted by the incredible Zarak Fatah @zarakfatah at the stunning space The Practice Toronto, and I am still struggling to find the words for how deeply it moved me. ✨
To be in Zarak’s presence is to truly find a pathway to healing. ❤️‍🩹
During the session, his voice kept guiding us: “Let this be your medicine.” And it truly was. ✨
The armor just melted away, I found myself crying tears of pure, honest release, letting go of things I didn’t even realize I was carrying. 🙏
It was the most amazing, lighter than air feeling.
But the medicine didn’t stop there. Afterward, we gathered over the most delicious food for a guided conversation. We were asked five deeply life altering questions that forced us to look inward, open our hearts, and connect on a level that feels so rare these days. ✨
Thank you, Zarak, for creating such a safe, beautiful vortex for us to shed, grow, and break through. If you ever get the chance to sit in his space or step into The Practice, do it. Your soul will thank you. 🙏
