Thrilled to be joining this year’s artists and performers at the York Theatre, Seymour Centre, for the 10th anniversary of Arts on Tour’s Salon!

The event will showcase more than 35 projects spanning almost every artform — from dance, music and cabaret to immersive and interactive works, puppetry, family entertainment and narrative theatre.

I’ll be one of seven performers presenting an excerpt from my original cabaret, STUPORMODEL.

With just five weeks to go, here’s the incredible line-up of artists pitching at Salon 2026. Watch the video to see who else is in the mix!

One of the things I love most about the character of Morticia is that beneath all the glamour, darkness and wit… she creates a world where her children are encouraged to be entirely themselves.

Complex, emotional, unapologetically different. Strange, sensitive, wild, imaginative, expressive, unconventional.

Thrilled to be stepping into the shoes of this gothic matriarch & hoping I can learn a thing or two from her parenting style. 🖤

Instead of whispering about hot flushes, memory lapses or night sweats, Menopause The Musical belts out parody songs in celebration.

The story is set in a department store, but, it feels more like a rock-pop concert—complete with dazzling lights, playful costumes and plenty of energy.

It’s delightfully silly, joyfully over-the-top, and above all, a celebration of womanhood, sisterhood and solidarity.

Our show, Menopause the Musical, opened on Sunday night!

Rehearsing for this show while white-knuckling perimenopause has been… quite the adventure. Not only negotiating two very large left feet in choreography and brain fog thicker my Spanx after a 3 course dinner, we threw in family influenza and chicken pox for extra “spice”.

Sure, some might say a 20-year-old script about menopause might need some modernising. But ANY script that puts women’s experiences center stage? That’s some seriously cool
Sh*+ right there.
I’m so proud of this beautiful cast and crew - how we’ve pulled it all together so fast, plus our brilliant all-girl band that absolutely rocks the roof off! The laughs we get make it all worth it. This show is such a joy giver.

Working in the State Theatre? Dream come true. Grateful for this challenge and the opportunity to give voice to real, truthful experiences that every woman either faces now or will face.

So, with that in mind - Time to get off the couch! Musical theatre is living, breathing energy that Netflix will never compete with.

I know now that if you don’t take a solid whack at the piñata you don’t get the goodies.

To create, produce and perform a one-woman show has been the ultimate creative project I’ve always yearned for, but lacked the courage to attempt.

This time last week, I was hauling my nerve-riddled body and a homemade set into The Hayes Theatre, the only place I ever wanted to debut this material. Not knowing if I had any business attempting this crazy thing.

That amplified inner critic challenging the very themes I was about to explore in STUPORMODEL: When IS the right time for our voice to be heard? To let people see all of us - the wonky, vulnerable, weird and broken bits - without the smoke and mirrors?

And then, with a determined nudge from my brilliant collaborators, Amy Campbell and Victoria Falconer, we let rip and did it. And we did good. I’m incredibly proud of what we made. I’m bursting with such gratitude that my teeth are in danger of dislodging from my head.

So much work and heart went into its creation and I have learnt so much from these people who have been insanely generous with their time, expertise, support & faith.

Countless beautiful souls to thank, high five, tag, and bow down to for this amazing experience.

Thank you to all who came to the show and cheered, sent messages of encouragement & flowers, and those who performed private prayers & sorcery.
