2020 was really hard for a lot of people in the wedding industry. It was also pretty hard for couples who were planning to get married. The pandemic either put a stop on their plans or slowed it down. In less than 2 weeks, an epic partnership was born with @unionbankng and @bellanaijaweddings called #AFreeUnion This collaboration made it possible for two different couples to have their proposal done all expenses paid and an all expenses paid wedding! Working and leading on this collaboration was so good! On one hand, creating such tremendous impact not just in the wedding industry but in the lives of 4 individuals and the families and on the second hand, working with the best partners and the best team was incredible! I mean who plans a wedding, a proposal in 1 week +, selects the couple in less than a week and still creates the best experience, the best memories, the best surprise proposal and the best wedding! Day 2 kicked off early. I and some TEDx organisers facilitated an educational SDG breakout session for a global hospitality brand. I had a really good time. Up next, I spent sometime meeting emerging leaders from Africa and attended an ecosystem event on how to use media for good. Learnt so much during this session. Celebrated with Skoll 2019 Awardees at a museum which had some fascinating modern art. #SkollWF #SkollWorldForum #TEDx #SDG
