With our show officially announced, it's time to introduce our first rookie in the section Meredith!

Name: Meredith Holtmeyer
Age: 19
Instruments: Flute, Trombone, Euph/Bari, Trumpet, and Cymbals (if you count them)
Hometown: Mystic, CT
Marching experience: 3 years high school marching band, 2 years winter guard, 2 years indoor percussion, 3 years 7th Regiment DBC
Why did you want to march?: I have some friends (shoutout LJ on quads) who encouraged me to come to Spartans which at first I was unsure about, but after the first few camps I am extremely excited to make it my home for the summer 🙂
Favorite Water: Sparkling ✨
Random Fun Fact: Despite all of the music and arts I partake in, I am actually a biology major 🧬

Another season in the books with another group of unforgettable people. This season has been insane but i wouldn’t have had it be with anybody else. Drum corps creates families & these are only a few pictures of mine. Until next year… RAO 💙7️⃣.

Y3. Man, hell of a rollercoaster huh?
Forever grateful for my brothers and sisters that marched beside me for "drums in a gym" extravaganzas. Don't cry 'cause it's over, smile 'cause it happened. To one more year with the dawgs.
See you soon SEC♥️

For our second member introduction: Mere (C2)
This is Mere’s first season with SEC.
She is a senior at Three Rivers Middle College and a member of @7thregiment drum and bugle corps. She is also an alumni of the Fitch Falcon Marching Band and Winter Guard.
You’ll often find Mere laughing about the most random things in the middle of rehersal (she’s ended up on the floor a couple times).
She would like to continue her journey with 7th Regiment and come back as a cymbal tech for SEC next year.
Favorite Indoor Percussion Show: “Oooohh, probably Icarus - Fair Lawn Indoor Percussion 2023” @fairlawnpercussion
