As I mentioned before, I am involved in Carthage’s theater productions and the VPA offices! (VPA office job less photographed because I’m on the clock haha)

If I’m not onstage or backstage, I can be found house managing or in the box office!

I find other ways to be involved with theater on campus with my friends such as improv! (@merelyplayersimprov ) Last year we invited some alumni back for a special senior show, and this year we’re looking to hold a full alumni show! Yay!

I also used to be in APO, the theater frat, but with all I do I got too busy and had to drop. However, I am very happy to be involved when I can, like the 24 Hour Musical!!

I highly recommend anyone (major or not major) to at least catch a performance, improv show, or a 24 hour production because not only is it fun, it introduces you to a lot of people and experiences :)

Hey there, Carthage students! Looking for more ways to get involved on campus this fall? Learn more about one of the many VPA-related clubs on campus below!

"Merely Players is Carthage's own improv comedy group! We are a silly bunch that meets Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 9-11pm in the Stu theatre and put on 3-4 improv shows per semester. We host auditions once per semester, so join us if you're interested in comedy, acting, or just overall fun!" - Jack Kelley, MP Co-President.
