The science behind the gut–skin axis.

Did you know your gut and skin are connected through a complex, two-way communication network known as the gut–skin axis?

Emerging research continues to explore how the gut microbiome influences skin health, particularly through its relationship with immune function and inflammatory responses.

A diverse, balanced gut microbiome plays an important role in regulating inflammation and maintaining immune function, both of which contribute to healthy skin function and barrier resilience. It’s this connection that informs our approach to skin health beyond topical skincare.

Meridien incorporates our InnerGlow Elixir into her daily wellness routine as a considered way to complement her skincare from within, because supporting skin health means looking beyond the skin’s surface 🤍
