Halfway around the world, and all of a sudden, right there in front of me... 🌊

Such a majestic, balletic creature. ✨️

I want to, however, talk about a feeling I had as we approached Manta Bay. It felt like being part of a fox hunt, each smoking engine like hooves pounding the ground beneath us, and every guide acting as the hounds, sniffing out a prized encounter and barking directions that echoed across the bay.

We tried our best to treasure our time spent with this gentle giant while also using the moment to explain to our children how excessive splashing and loud noises can cause these animals stress.

If we had our time over again, we would simply try to do better. 💙💙💙

Tips:
● Do a bit more research.
● Ask for conservation-focused operators partnered with the MMF.
● Manta Point over Manta Bay.
● In the water, float completely still. ✌️
