FRIDAY FEATURE | Finding GRATITUDE in the midst of it all.

It’s been a difficult week for Pensacola.

So many are still dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Isaias. Homes and yards to repair, debris to clear, power and water to restore. For some, the road to recovery will be a long one.

Yet one thing we’ve heard again and again this week is gratitude.

Gratitude for loved ones who are safe. For neighbors lending a hand. For strangers showing up when they’re needed. For the linemen working tirelessly to bring back a little normalcy.

And sometimes, gratitude for something as simple as a quiet moment to breathe.

Tonight, our courtyard is filled with people coming together for 75 minutes of stillness, restoration, and peace. A small opportunity to step away from the challenges of the past week.

We know not everyone has the luxury of slowing down right now, and our thoughts are especially with those still facing tremendous challenges.

But through it all, the kindness, generosity, and sense of community we’ve witnessed throughout Pensacola have been truly remarkable.
