Doing the work I do every day, very little surprises me. But being named to the TIME100 list is hard to get my brain around. Beyond grateful to @time for this extraordinary recognition. Even more special to share this honor with my sister by choice @rachel67bk. While being in the room this week with so many people who are changing the world was beyond inspiring, it’s the survivors fighting tirelessly for truth & justice that completely blow me away. Also… it doesn’t suck to share a page with the guy who led the incredible mission flying around the moon😜

It takes three months to put together this blockbuster issue. @time’s list of The World’s Greatest Places of 2025 is finally out and I’m over the moon. All the 👏👏👏 and big ❤️ to my colleagues @emmajbarks and @merrillfabry for their razor-sharp editing, Leslie Dickstein and Simmone Shah for their diligent fact-checking, the art and photo teams for making everything so pretty (that cover, holy smokes!), and of course to the dozens of international writers who bring this incredible issue to life year after year. We couldn’t do it without y’all!
