~•But paradise is locked and bolted....
We must make a journey around the world to see if a back door has perhaps been left open.

Our ASMC representatives, Andrea and Rashad, will be at the table representing student voices and advocating for our community.

A space to care 🧸🍼💤

Lactation rooms are an important part of creating welcoming, supportive, and equitable college campuses. For students, faculty, and staff who are breastfeeding or expressing milk, having a private and comfortable space can make it easier to balance their education, work, and family responsibilities.

💙 Merritt College offers 1 Lactation Room available for use:
📍 Allied Health — Barbara Lee S-Building, 3rd Floor
🗓️ Monday–Friday
🚪 Open for use

Because supporting student parents means recognizing that education and parenthood CAN and SHOULD coexist @merrittcollegeofficial recognizes that access to essential spaces is part of creating a campus where everyone has the opportunity to succeed.

One of the biggest mistakes I see basketball coaches make in the Fall is doing too much too soon. They run their players too much and they play too much and that often leads to injuries. I know this to be true because I have made the same mistakes. If a strength coach is fortunate enough to have a preseason, use that time to build resilience to physical stress and improve your athlete’s ability.
