❤️ Mesa Restaurant, Jacksonville — Where Kerala Flavors Meet the Warmth of Home! 🇮🇳✨

Did you know that “Mesa” means “table” in Malayalam? And what better name for a place that brings people together over delicious food, heartfelt hospitality, and beautiful conversations? ❤️🍽️

Mesa is more than just a restaurant; it’s an experience shaped by family, culture, and a genuine love for serving people. What makes this place truly special is its welcoming lady owner and Chef Saji, who personally hosts her guests with so much warmth, love, and attention. You can feel the passion she puts into making everyone feel comfortable and valued. It’s that rare kind of hospitality that makes you want to return, not just for the food, but for the people behind it. 🥰

And the food? Kerala fusion at its best! 🌶️🍛 A beautiful celebration of Kerala’s rich culinary heritage, bringing familiar flavors and creative twists together in a way that makes every meal memorable.

There is something truly heartwarming about a family-operated restaurant where food is not just prepared to be served, but made to be shared and enjoyed. Every visit feels like a little connection to Kerala — its culture, its flavors, and its tradition of welcoming guests with open hearts.

The story of restaurants like Mesa is also a reminder of how food carries our heritage across borders. For those of us living far from Kerala, discovering a place that brings those flavors to life is especially meaningful. 🇮🇳❤️

If you’re in Jacksonville (JAX), put Mesa on your list. Come for the Kerala fusion cuisine, stay for the hospitality, and leave with a happy heart and a satisfied appetite! ✨

A night well spent supporting Jacksonville 🐆✨

The 10th Annual Jaguars Foundation Cocktail Party brought Dine & Drink Around DUUUVAL to Citri San Marco, the perfect setting for the evening.

100% of ticket proceeds benefit the Jaguars Foundation and the work they’re doing in our community. 💛

Already looking forward to next year! 🥂

is @mesajax worth a @michelinguide star?

overall verdict: a bib gourmand for sure! potential for a star ⭐️

with their new fall menu, they specialize in a lighter fresher version than what you may be used to, they take south indian flavors + seasonal ingredients to create an intimate menu— I really enjoyed my evening there.

highly recommend getting the masala dosa or Mesa wings, also loved the crunch + flavor in the kerala fried chicken sandwich. everything was seasoned well and had the perfect amount of heat
+ mesa wings 8.5/10
+ sweet potato samosas 6/10
+ masala dosa 9/10
+ mesa chicken curry 9/10
+ lamb chops 8/10
+ kerala fried chicken sandwich 10/10
+ dubai chocolate semifreddo 8/10

Today may be the first day of fall, but it certainly didn't feel like it here in Northeast Florida. We've rounded up a few of our favorite meals to bid farewell to summer produce.

Comment "BEEF" and we'll send the Stuffed Tomato recipe straight to your inbox!

1) Stuffed Zucchini Boats with our grass-fed ground beef
2) Herby Beef + Noodle Salad
3) Beef Flatbread using @mesajax parotta, cucumber-peach salsa, garlic yogurt + mint
4) Spiced Beef + Sesame Noodles using @nakedkitchenjax sesame noodles, cherry tomatoes + basil
5) Stuffed Tomatoes with beef, lentils + rice (bonus points if you use leftover @nariosnuk garlic rice)

What are you making to savor the last moments of summer before diving into autumn?
