POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Waiting for Thursday, after I’ve driven all my friends – and poor Simone in particular – up the wall. I poured out all my anxiety and fear of getting things wrong to him, and then, as usual, it was all just MY MENTAL FILMS – for which I should win an Oscar too, dear Cillian!

Cillian in Document, interview with Geoff Dyer: “I’ve got no interest in stuff that’s entertaining. I’d like to leave the cinema feeling f&&ed up and winded and punch-drunk, rather than, that was a lovely experience, shall we have a glass of wine?”.
@mescalmemes @lucrezia___bosio @annalog002 @baas6556, we know something about that, don’t we?

My feelings about Hamnet.
I cried at many points in the book (something that had never happened to me before while reading), but this film really moved me beyond measure. Just when you say to yourself, “Right, no more crying,” the story pushes you further and further.
A beautiful, engaging film, masterfully performed by everyone and masterfully directed by Chloé.
In the end, however, my tears for the film turned into tears for Paul’s non-Oscar nomination: HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE????????????
Thanks to Simone, Lulu and Marco: it was my great desire to watch this movie together and it came true.

FINALLY!!!!! Tonight I’m going to watch HAMNET.
I managed to organise what I hoped for and I’ll be watching the film with the people I really wanted to watch it with (due to ‘spatial and temporal’ issues, it wasn’t possible with other two people I care about). There are still a few hours to go, see you in my next post after I’ve watched it.

By a strange twist of fate, I received two Cill calendars from two friends 😊

This is the cover of the one Simone gave me, and the other day I posted the one Lulu gave me.

The news I wanted to share at this point is that on the first day of every month, starting in January, I will post the two photos of the two calendars so that everyone can appreciate their beauty, which is ultimately Cillian's beauty; the credit goes to him.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart♥️

Today is Simone’s birthday, a unique, special and brilliant person whom I met thanks to that wonderful lad from Kildare in the pic: Our Paul Mescal.
I don’t know why, because it’s not like me, but I got the date of his birthday completely wrong, so I hope he’ll forgive me.
Happy birthday, Simo!!!

Just because they look good together, right? And because it’s a day to remember. 😉

If anyone wants a definition of “disarming smile,” just look at this photo to understand. A gift for Lulu, James, Peri, and Simone. Credit to @garethcattermole via @paulmescalpics.

One of my dreams came true: Paul with Cillian and Jessie at TIFF. How I would also like a picture of Cillian with James.... I don’t know if it will happen. Thanks to my trusty secret co-agents of @cillian.murphy.unlimited

Where he lives it is already 4 September, so the post works. Thanks to Paul Mescal, Andrew Scott and, in parallel, Simone, I was lucky enough to meet James (coincidentally the name of the first of my fav actors) who has his birthday today. James is a very sweet, delicate, sensitive, profound person who pays attention to the smallest detail and whom I have decided to ‘adopt’ as a younger brother. If I had to compare him to a bird he is a robin My dear James, thank you for the conversations, thank you for your sweetness, thank you for being there: my best wishes for a happy birthday, my strongest virtual hug reaches you from afar! 🥰
