We got the date! On February 28, 2027, I’ll be speaking at Messiah University for Black History Month. 🎤📚

There’s something special about being invited into university spaces to talk about race, identity, belonging, leadership, and what it means to be the first, the few, and the only.

Because this work has never just been about telling my story.

It’s about creating enough room for someone else to recognize themselves in it.

I’m grateful for the invitation, grateful for the opportunity, and honestly… still a little amazed at where this book and this work keep taking me.

February 28. Messiah University.

See you there. 🖤

SGA and MCC are looking forward to working together and bringing unity all over campus!!

MCCs theme of the year is—
"Ubuntu" which is an ancient Southern African philosophy from the Nguni Bantu languages, it is often summarized by the phrase "I am because we are," emphasizing that our well-being is tied to the well-being of others.
