My mother always said , The beautiful thing about learning is that no one can take it away from you. When I started my career in design and art I didn’t know one day I would be thrilled to share my knowledge with students and will get an opportunity to teach degree students. Here at LISAA I teach textile science including embroidery , knitting, weaving and prints , fashion illustration, history of art and outdoor drawing to fashion design and textile design students.
This is a beautiful work of art created by my student @cater_____pillar who is a very talented and hardworking girl from Kashmir. She came to Delhi to study fashion and textile . Her work is inspired by the valley of Kashmir .
Here she is using different types of stitches - satin , stem and chain stitch , French knots and bullion knots .
