How It Has To Be is out now on all streaming platforms

Written by @finolamusic

Produced, mixed & mastered by @gtfitzy

This song marks my return to music after 6 years out of the industry, making it personal in more ways than one.

I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has collaborated with me on this project.

Clari, thanks for letting me use your voice note you sent me when I was needing a friend the most. Zack thank you for helping me get the bones of this track down and brainstorming with me, to my right arm in creativity Olly for capturing the beautiful visuals and lending your expertise in everything I do creatively, and for introducing me to the musical wizard that is George Fitzgibbon. The production on this track is sensational, I feel like I’m living in a movie when I listen to it, and I’ve never felt more inspired in a studio than I did when recording this.

And on a personal note, it’s never too late to pivot, try new things, pick something back up and your worth is never determined by anybody’s inability to see it.

I wrote this song after a Summer fling, though it’s inspired by a couple of occasions where I shrunk myself to fit the idea of what I thought someone else wanted. Never again.

If you relate, I hope this song helps with your healing and I hope you know you’re a bad bitch. 🫰

Blast it in the car with the windows down, scream it at the top of your lungs with your best friends, and let go off anything and anyone that makes you feel like you’re not enough.

It’s just How It Has To Be 🩵
