Start With Art! What a fun afternoon at the Indiana ballroom with some of the coolest people I know :-) thanks so much to Indianapolis arts council for hosting this fundraiser and for inviting me to attend! Just give me a reason to dress up 🤣 - wearing some of my hand-dyed pieces. #indyartscouncil #artistrenewal #indyarts #sustainablefashion

So if you were wondering why I haven’t been out and about as much recently, it’s because I got burnt out. This summer has been one of the busiest of my life and I ran out of energy, which was not something that happens very often for me. I couldn’t look at a screen, I couldn’t think about creating anything without feeling like my energy was already gone. So I stepped back … I listen to my body, reconnected with what I wanted to achieve and what I wanted to create. I took the leap to start my own fashion line created from the idea that even things that don’t look like they can be something beautiful, actually are. I applied to sell in a market, and got in. I had the honor of covering the WNBA All-Stars for @indystar . Life is all about balance and it’s important to remember that sometimes . Even if your career is going great, you can feel stuck and that’s because you don’t take enough time away from what you think you have to do, to do the things you need to do. Excited to be back and better than ever , go follow @metamorphix_creations to see my new line!

Soft launching this because I’m so excited but I’m also being incredibly picky about how I shoot the brand videos :) Fashion has always been something I’m obsessed with and as I’ve grown in other places and spaces in my life, it was something I felt was being forgotten on my list of passions. Cut to today, as I prep for my first market (iyktyk) and prepare to share something I’ve been working on for years with all of you!💕
