Ang functional strength training ay isang holistic approach to exercise na sumusuporta ng mobility, movement, at everyday strength. Nagiging mas mahalaga itong gawin as we age and lose muscle.

Strength training is an important part of my wellness routine, and another way I continue to support my muscle and bone health is by drinking one glass of Selecta Adult Active Milk every day. It has protein, calcium, and vitamin D that help support my overall strength.

Hindi kailangang komplikado ang pag-aalaga sa sarili. Magsimula sa simpleng galaw at isang baso ng Selecta Adult Active!

Cyclists squat 4 x 6 RPE 9

I always loved to squat, this variant puts more stress on the quads and abs.

3km run + 1km swim + 3km run + 1km swim + 3km run, that was last Sunday's race! All star aquathlon by @superseries.ph 🩵🩷

It reminded me why I started doing this in the first place.. for the fun of it. 🥰

These days, I don’t follow a training plan. Some days I lift @thegrin_method @metcon_ph , some days I play tennis, some days I swim or run. I simply move in ways that fit my schedule, my life. Some weeks are better than others, and that’s okay.

You don’t have to train perfectly to be an athlete.
You don’t have to earn your workout.
You don’t have to feel guilty for resting.. but don’t forget to make time to move..🩷

Just keep moving.
Keep showing up.

The best training plan is the one you actually enjoy enough to stick with 🩷

Train happy. The results will follow. 🩷🩵
