Itโ€™s hard to describe @mthrco - sure, itโ€™s a โ€œMomโ€™s Retreatโ€. But itโ€™s so much more than that. Itโ€™s a diverse group of warm, loving, adventurous women who are there to reconnect with themselves, to meet new people, to have three nights where all of our needs are met and we donโ€™t need to do anything for anyone. Itโ€™s magical. Iโ€™m forever indebted to past Brianna who knew she need this and went alone, without knowing anyone, last year. It was glorious to reconnect with some beautiful souls from last year, to meet new ones this year, to add to my matching friendship tattoo collection. In awe of @d_lillian for creating this community. Thank you to everyone who helped care for us all weekend long. ๐Ÿ’›โœจ

This year, weโ€™re thrilled to welcome back Dana from @methodsandrituals_spa, who will be guiding us through a new and deeply restorative sound bath: Cellular Renewal Sound Bath: A frequency-based ritual for skin regeneration and nervous system restoration. This immersive sound experience is designed with one intention: to support the bodyโ€™s natural ability to repair and renew the skin at a cellular level. Throughout the session, every element of the environment has been thoughtfully curated to support skin health. Crystal singing bowls tuned to 528 Hz โ€” often referred to as the โ€œDNA repair frequencyโ€, will guide us into a deeply restorative state where the nervous system can shift from stress into repair. In this relaxed state, the body is better able to support circulation, lymphatic flow, and the regenerative processes that contribute to resilient, radiant skin. This is more than a sound bath. It is a sensory ritual designed to nurture the the skin from the inside out.

Personally, my favorite swap for tretinoin is the Correct MD serum from Osmosis, which is a serum I carry. Itโ€™s a retinaldehyde - she is gentler, safer and effective. Retinaldehyde is a bioavailable form of retinol and takes less conversions in the skinโ€” AKAโ€” gets to the skin quicker and efficiently. I canโ€™t tell you the amount of clients who have specifically booked a facial with me because tretinoin destroyed their skin. They are prescribed tret and never told what to do or how to care for their skin when the purging process happens which ultimately causes more harm than good. Tretinoin is NOT for every skin type. In my humble opinion, I would only recommend for acne or really oily skin type. For those living in dry climates I would def not recommend it. Ok tangent done โœ”๏ธ Iโ€™m ready for people to come for me or share your thoughts & experience with tretinoin. #holisticskincare #esthetician #retinolserum #tretinoin

Something many people donโ€™t know about me: Iโ€™m certified in Breathwork. ๐Ÿค Years ago, I spent a week in Mount Shasta immersed in an intensive breathwork training. It was truly one of the most spiritual and transformative experiences of my lifeโ€”and it completely changed the way I understand the connection between the body, the mind, and our overall well-being. And yes, I believe breathwork belongs in a conversation about skincare and aging. Because skin health isnโ€™t just about what we put on our face. Our breath influences our nervous system, our stress response, our ability to relax, and how we move through the world. Chronic stress can affect the skin barrier, inflammation, sleep, and the way we age over time. Breathwork can be a beautiful tool for helping shift the body out of a constant state of stress and into a more regulated, restorative state. And I think that matters when we talk about pro-aging. Iโ€™m not interested in fighting the natural aging process. The skin is an organ, but itโ€™s also a reflection of the life weโ€™re living. This is why my approach to aesthetics has always been about so much more than the face. โœจ If youโ€™re interested in booking a session with me feel free to reach out with any questions. If youโ€™re a facial club member you can always swap your monthly facial for a Breathwork session. If youโ€™re not local, I also offer virtual sessions โœจ #holisitcfacial #breathwork #breathworkfacilitator #esthetician #proaging

PRO Tip: Always invite your esty besty to a wellness inspired Airbnb because I come with all things spa in tow for everyone to enjoy. We did a full lymphatic routine using some of my favorite essentials from @higherdose followed by some contrast therapy in a cold outdoor shower & some sauna action. Iโ€™m kinda obsessed with the wellness inspired backyard design by @cure.realestate at the Mandarin House x @stay.cocoon . Also, thanks for @kuratekphoto for capturing all of our shenanigans ๐Ÿ˜…
