Vacheron Constantin I’ve written about the oldest house in watchmaking before. Vacheron Constantin is a member of the holy trinity and has been known for their incredible mastery of watchmaking since its founding in 1755. Last night my little Watch Collectors & Enthusiasts group collaborated with WatchFemme to put on an event at the VC boutique here on Madison Avenue. What an amazing time we had. Sandrine Donguy, Director of Product Marketing and Innovation, was there to have a panel discussion along with Letitia Hirshy, founder of WatchFemme, and Zoe Abelson, vintage watch dealer and moderated by Daniel Bing, Head of Marketing in US for VC. They discussed the state of watchmaking for women, particularly from the perspective of Vacheron Constantin. The fact that VC released a 35 mm (bejeweled) and 34.5 mm (without jewels) Overseas at this year’s Watches and Wonders was mentioned multiple times. The only watch I share in the photos is the amazing one that Sandrine was wearing. In addition to panel members, I ran into part of our watch community in NYC and drop-ins from across the pond. Jane Chon was super friendly and was kind enough to share her exquisite VC chronograph with guilloché dial. I agree with her that the Vacheron-finished Lemania movement is exquisite. Another watch celebrity was Amandine, perhaps the youngest well-known watch influencer, who happened to be on vacation from Geneva with her mother. She was a delight and agreed to take a selfie with me. Life in NYC continues to be fun and full of surprises. #watches #watchesofinstagram #vacheronconstantin #nyclife #lifestyle #womeninwatches #watchfemme
