This weekend was a real rite of passage for @craywick - joining 10 grown dudes for a weekend of riding dirt bikes in the woods, camping … and more expletives than mom needs to know about. His steed? The ol’ trusty 1990 Honda XR200. He started out cautious, feeling his way through the single track. By the end of the day, he was riding up front with the fast leaders @md_logjam and @seanpaulpizza … as I lost sight of the trio through the Crawford Hills dust. He kicked ass and proved it’s the rider, not the bike. Sure humbled me on my fancy purpose built Italian woods weapon. It was one of those moments where your boy grows up right before your eyes. Proud of that kid! Huge thanks to @therockinrev for bringing together such a great crew. Happy 40th, man! @metro_motorcycle

Flat out Friday 2026! It was my 3rd year racing it and always an event I look forward to. I started out the afternoon with winning both my heat races in the Open Women’s class and Open Amateur. For the mains, I had pole for the women’s class, I got the hole shot and lapped the entire field. Almost threw it away at one point but got the win. Open Amateur I was 3rd out of the first corner held my position for some laps. I got passed by 2 riders and was in 5th, let them battle for a bit and was able to get under one of them. On the last lap with just a little bit of bar banging I was able to gain back 3rd place for a P3 for the night! 📸ShotsbyAMD 📸crystalclearmoments Thank you to everyone who helped in the pits and came out to support! Another top notch day with the @c.w.i.r.a crew and more hardware for the trophy case. Mid 20’s was a LOT more pleasant than the -20’s last race. This girl loves to ride her dirtbike and always tries to sneak extra laps on the track. So much so that when they see her coming, they literally have to park an ATV in the middle of the race track and wave her off. #girlsridetoo #playoutside #ice
