🌕 Full Moon Gratitude

Tonight, under this full moon, my heart whispers only one word - thank you.

Thank you to the Amazon, to the jungle that called me here, to this sacred land that breathes with life.

Thank you to the spirits of the forest, to the rivers that sing, to the trees that hold the wisdom of silence.

Here, I remembered what it means to be alive.
To feel the air, the sounds, the pulse of the earth under my feet.

To simply be.

In the stillness of the jungle, I didn’t feel alone, I felt united with everything that exists.

Every leaf, every drop of rain, every breath felt like a prayer.

To the Indigenous souls who opened their hearts and showed me another way to live - thank you.

You reminded me that happiness is not something to chase but something to feel right here, right now, in this very breath.

I’m endlessly grateful for this journey, for the moments of surrender, for the tears, for the laughter, for the way life keeps showing me that love is everywhere.

This, I realize, is what it means to be alive.

Not perfect, not certain but present.

And I love this life.

I truly, deeply love this life 🌿🤍

A beautiful few days grounding after our trip to the Yawarani village with @yawatur in the Amazon rainforest of Brazil. We have found the most beautiful people at the hostel here at Rio Branco @hostelpovosdafloresta .

So welcoming so much love and even more healing and grounding. Filled with so much love and joy and care.

Why do you think I’m barefoot all the time? It feels like a way I can more deeply love and connect to the earth.

I often feel that the earth is more like my lover than my mother. This became especially apparent to me when I finally understood what it meant to honor and commit to a partner is a healthy and reciprocated way. It feels like a relationship that I decide to commit to deeply, taking responsibility for my needs and desires AND deciding to support the needs and desires of this earth, to explore what right relationship looks like on the daily.

My main love language is physical touch. So I touch trees and climb them to show my love and affection. I lay in grass and sing to the flowers and bees to serenade them. When I swim in natural pools and waterfalls I feel renewed, cleansed, and sometimes even reborn. I enjoy the feeling of an ant crawling on me- though that one took a little while to actually enjoy. I pray deep gratitude for every fruit and vegetable I get to eat and be nourished by. But damn, you know what else I love? When my hands are covered in dirt and I’m digging through compost and soil playing with worms.

I feel so much pleasure when I am physically touching nature and she is touching me. I feel so much pleasure spending quality time with her and doing acts of service for her. Cause I know she got me. Over and over and over, I have never suffered for lack of earthly resources and feel so deeply held in this relationship.
