Hyped to add Killer Klowns From Outer Space to my @mexifunk cover art collection. There’s so many good ones but I was late to the party so so far these were the first instant cops I had to get. If you wanna see some cool artwork for some classic horror movies check him out.

The first of supernatural Saturdays films is Ghosts of Mars directed by the legendary @johncarpenterofficial Featuring Natasha Henstrege Lt Melanie and Ice cube Desolation Williams as along with Jackie Brown herself, Stokely from the faculty, Sir Jason Statham before the transporter, and many more familiar faces. This movie a mix of Resident 1s adaption, Doom 3 and Pitch black/ chronicles of riddick.

In the future we have colonized Mars, martian police team led by Jackie Brown are sent to pick up fugitive Desolation Williams. When La Squadra arrives at the appointed train station they are shocked to find no one in town, a ghost town some would say. After finding Desolation, and several survivors they witness the townsfolk and are attacked. It is a race back to the train-station and out of dodge for these simple futuristic miners have unleashed unspeakable horrors long dormant, and like the Tommyknockers they have no problem occupying new human bodies.

This is a classic horror popcorn movie, not carpenters best but still fun. The action sequences pop and although Sil does not reference what her species did native martians prior it is nice to see her in other films. I have to say this awesome art by @mexifunk on the @steelbook 4k set presented by @screamfactoryofficial is beautiful! #horrormoviesandchill #halloween #bluraycollection #johncarpenter

Some new additions to the collection! 📀✨

Three movies, three incredible steelbooks, and some seriously beautiful artwork.

Jeepers Creepers (2001), The Return of the Living Dead (1985), and Black Swan (2010).

All three feature artwork by the incredibly talented Orlando Arocena (@mexifunk ). His attention to detail and unique style really make these releases stand out. Definitely worth checking out more of his work!

Now the real question is, which artwork is your favorite?

WELCOME BACK TO THE VAULT. 🔐🎬

VAULT ENTRY 043 — Guyver: Dark Hero (1994) Blu-ray Collector’s Edition.

💿 Blu-ray — 2-Disc Set
📦 Toy Robot Video Collector’s Edition
🤖 Alien Bio-Armor • Mutants • Practical Creature Effects
🎬 Directed by Steve Wang
⭐ David Hayter • Kathy Christopherson • Bruno Patrick • Christopher Michael
👽 Sci-Fi • Action • Superhero • Horror
📅 1994

THE GUYVER IS BACK… AND DARKER THAN EVER. 🤖💥

An alien power. A deadly secret. An all-out battle against monstrous enemies.

Sean Barker never asked to become the Guyver—a human bonded with an alien bio-armor that transforms him into a powerful fighting machine. When an archaeological discovery reveals secrets about the Guyver’s origins, Sean finds himself facing the sinister Kronos Corporation and its terrifying Zoanoids once again.

Directed by Steve Wang, Guyver: Dark Hero takes the franchise in a darker, more intense direction, blending superhero action, science fiction, martial arts, and gruesome creature horror. It’s the kind of ’90s cult classic that delivers a unique mix of practical suits, monster designs, and over-the-top action. 🔥👊

BUT THIS COLLECTOR’S EDITION @mexifunk ARTWORK IS 🔥🔥🔥

That yellow Toy Robot Video spine strip paired with the explosive @mexifunk cover art makes this release stand out immediately! The armored Guyver faces off against a massive, monstrous Zoanoid, surrounded by fiery colors and chaotic action. It perfectly captures the wild, creature-feature energy of ’90s sci-fi.

And this isn’t just a great-looking package—the two-disc Blu-ray edition includes both the original 1994 version and an enhanced version with new special effects, along with commentaries, interviews, behind-the-scenes material, trailers, and photo galleries. A fantastic release for fans who love discovering cult movies with some serious collector appeal. 🤖💿

A cult sci-fi warrior officially secured in the vault. 🔐👽

WELCOME BACK TO THE VAULT. 🔐🎬

VAULT ENTRY 025 — Drag Me to Hell (2009) Limited Edition 4K SteelBook

💿 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray
📦 Limited Edition SteelBook by @mexifunk
🎬 Directed by Sam Raimi
⭐ Alison Lohman • Justin Long • Lorna Raver • Dileep Rao
😈 Horror • Supernatural • Horror-Comedy
📅 2009

“YOU’RE GOING TO HELL.” 😈🔥

Sam Raimi brings his signature blend of horror, outrageous gore, dark comedy, and nonstop chaos to Drag Me to Hell.

Christine Brown thinks she’s finally getting ahead in life—until one seemingly small decision leaves her cursed by a supernatural force. With only three days to break the curse, she has to figure out how to save herself before she’s literally dragged to hell. 😈

This 2025 Shout! Factory Limited Edition SteelBook brings the film to 4K with a new 4K scan from the original DI film negative, approved by Sam Raimi and editor Bob Murawski, with Dolby Vision. The release includes both the theatrical and unrated versions, along with a massive collection of bonus material. 

And THAT @mexifunk ARTWORK. 🔥🔥🔥

The creature hands crawling all over Christine’s face, the explosive red-and-blue color palette, and the chaotic composition make this one of those SteelBooks that immediately grabs your attention.

It feels completely appropriate for a Sam Raimi movie—beautiful, grotesque, chaotic, and just a little bit unhinged.

A modern horror favorite officially secured in the vault. 🔐😈
