It’s was so worth it to go back to Arizona last week to meet and give love to the newest member of the family. He is so blessed to have niece Danielle as a mother and Will as a father. I feel safer knowing that a man like Will is fathering a boy like Manolo in todays world 🙏🏽💕

I have to admit, my hubby has outdone himself with a surprise of a lifetime for our 15 wedding anniversary! He planned a surprise anniversary brunch with my family to make this weekend one I will never forget. It was truly special to celebrate this special day with my family. I am also reminded that 15 years ago, a lot was going on with marriage equality in the USA. When we we got married, it was only legal in a couple states. One of those states being Massachusetts where Jonathan is from. When we went to get our marriage license in Massachusetts, we were the first one to apply at the city hall we went to. Luckily, everyone there was so kind to us but I know this is not always the case. In 15 years there’s been many steps forward but also steps back. I’m grateful to stand tall and proud to be married to the man I love. No one will ever be able to take that love away from us. Today, was truly a healing moment on the journey and gives me hope for more positive change. Happy Anniversary and Happy Pride! 🏳️‍🌈 Also, a huge thank you to @wrigleymansion and their amazing staff for making the day special!❤️🙏🏼 #LGBTQ #WrigleyMansion
