Opera Scenes with the Tosti International Singing Academy 2026

What an amazing past 12 days we have had in Folkestone, welcoming 25 fantastic singers from 16 countries who have worked unbelievably hard.

Our aim is to work with each singer and help them progress in their own way. With our world class faculty of incredible coaches, conductors, and industry professionals it has been made possible. However none of this would have been possible without our sponsors The Richard Stoker Foundation, The Oak Foundation, Dukes Education, @soundsfolkestone @thegrandinfolkestone the @luxonrose_foundation and the man who made it all possible @matthewrosephotos.

We thank you all for coming to our public events supporting us in every way you can and we look forward to what’s next !!

Two intense, inspiring and transformative weeks in @tosti_int_singing_academy , filled with coaching, performances, meaningful encounters and incredible music.

Every day brought the opportunity to work with great artists, conductors, directors, pianists, voice and vocal health coaches -and to share the stage with such talented people in beautiful atmosphere.

So many insights…

It is so important for young singers to meet people who genuinely care and share their knowledge and experience.

Dear @matthewrosephotos , thank you for everything!❤️

English Song Concert with Iain Burnside

Yesterday we were lucky enough to welcome Iain Burnside to perform a concert of English Shakespeare put to song. It was a fantastic concert with four of our talented singers followed by an entire course performance of Serenade to Music.

It is a real privilege to give the opportunity of working with such a prevalent and world class faculty to our singers.

If you are looking to book tickets to our upcoming public events please follow the link in our bio.

I can’t believe it’s been a week since the @garsingtonopera season came to a close! Missing these fabulous people and shows already, so here’s a dump to scare the post-show blues away x

La Traviata ✅ what a way to end the contract! It’s been an absolute blast being a part of this season at @garsingtonopera ❤️ I want to say a huge thanks to all my colleagues, especially my mezzo gals (and Maryam) who made the dressing room such a hoot! There was a moment in the contract that due to illness I thought I might have to sit the rest of the season out, but we made it through! Wishing everyone the very best and I really do hope we all cross paths in the future xxx Here are just some of the fantastic photos of La Traviata and my time at Garsington!

Der Rosenkavalier ✅ a very late post, but I had the best time performing in @garsingtonopera production of Der Rosenkavalier! It was a pleasure to cover the role of Annina whilst also singing in the chorus too. Sadly due to illness I ended up retiring early from my trusty trapdoor, but still had so much fun! Only one more thing to say…. TA-DAH! ⭐️

A different start to today’s La Traviata performance, my 3rd show of Trav here @garsingtonopera as we have the Sitzprobe with the fantastic @philharmonia_orchestra for the Opera First performance next week.
So wonderful to be back with the cover cast who all will be performing their roles next week.
