Today, July 30, my husband turned the big 50! 🎉🎂😍

We enjoyed a great family & friends vacation in Jamaica last week & had a blast at his birthday party in Chicago this past Sunday.

However, my mom had surgery last Thursday… & also on Sunday, 3 of our family members had horrific car accidents. A cousin & aunt badly injured, and on the other side of town, an uncle succumbed to his injuries. 😔

We also lost his mom, our Angel, a year and a half ago- and it’s still hard to bear. 💓🕊️

Things like this make us want to not celebrate and also makes us want to celebrate everyday.

I couldn’t go to bed without posting some of the many pics I have in my phone of the man I love for 30 years & counting. We will continue to celebrate each other, our loved ones, and life! ❤️💫

I’ll post the party & vacay pics over the next few days.

Happy Birthday Boo! The man that can cook, build, fix, and figure out almost everything! I’m so proud of you and thankful for you! 😍💫

May God continue to bless all of us! 🙏🙏

This video from one of my trips back home to Chicago had been sitting in my drafts. So many beautiful memories with family, friends, laughter, and love. Me and my lil brother love showing out on the dance floor lol 🕺💃

This video means even more now because a beautiful young lady (in one of these pics) we’ve known for years tragically lost her life last month. I’m so grateful she got to laugh, dance, and make memories with us. Rest well, sweet Brea. My prayers are with your babies, your family, and everyone who loves you. 💛🙏🏽

Life is precious. Love on your people, make the memories, and don’t take tomorrow for granted.

I can’t wait to celebrate my birthday early at our event tomorrow at Harold’s private venue in Dyer, Indiana. Doors open at 7 PM and showtime is 8 PM.

Then on Saturday, we’ll be back @ameristarec Casino for another private VIP Players event with @syleenajohnson and some of my favorite comedians.

We did a surprise visit at grandads church today for his birthday. The boys kept shouting amen throughout the service and had everyone one laughing. Then we got a surprise solo from grandad and the boys clapped and cheered throughout his song. Such a blessing to celebrate his 92nd bday and to see him living his best life. We love you grandad and Happy Birthday🎂🎉🥰
