Believe Palestinian Journalists.

Last week, as the Israeli military continued killing journalists in Gaza, it claimed that 170 of the Palestinian journalists it had killed were “terrorists who posed as journalists.” Yet for most of those listed, there is no evidence whatsoever to support the claim—not even fabricated evidence.

Palestinian political analyst @muhammadshehada reviewed every entry on the Israeli military’s propaganda list and found that for “the overwhelming majority of those listed, the IDF presents ZERO credible evidence. In most of them, their pages are literally blank.”

Last Wednesday, an Israeli strike killed Palestinian journalist Mohammed Abdul Aziz al-Najjar, bringing the number of journalists killed by the Israeli military to 263 in Gaza and 21 in Lebanon.

The Israeli military knows exactly who it is targeting: the very journalists who expose its war crimes in Gaza. That is why it tries to silence them.

The United States House of Representatives has passed a bill to penalise American universities for boycotting Israel or its academic institutions, including those located in the occupied West Bank, a move that critics say violates freedom of expression.

Lawmakers approved the measure in a 237-169 vote on Thursday, with 33 Democrats joining the Republican majority. Two Republicans broke ranks with their party to reject the bill.
