Meet my client Melanee.

Melanee came to work with me 20 months after the removal of an Acoustic Neuroma, a tumour that was wrapped around the left side of her vestibular system.

The vestibular system is your sensory system found within the inner ear that is resposible for maintaining balance, coordination and awareness of spatial orientation.

All of which was removed along with the tumour on her left side.

Losing the system that is essential for normal movement and equilibrium meant that Melanee had a lot of work to do to relearn how to move through her world.

And that is exaclty what she set her mind to do.

Step by step she relearned how to perform simple movements and then more complex ones. Every set you could see the improvement as her brain figured out new ways to perform these tasks.

We've worked on everything together from balance and strength, to mindset and nutrition.

She is tenacious, determined and committed.

And brave. So very brave.

Melanee is now starting group classes while we continue to work together one on one.

When I say that my clients inspire me, you are starting to get a glimpse of that truth.
