Drumroll, please…🥁
º
It’s our first Tea Tuesday!
º
Each Tuesday we will create a post about all things kombucha…whether it’s science🧪, beneficial ingredients explained or general kombucha knowledge, keep your eye👁on this space to find out WHAT’S THE TEA?
º
Swipe left to check out a kombucha SCOBY (Symbiotic Culture of Bacteria and Yeast) - the engine of kombucha and definitely not a Mushroom as you may have heard! Its scientific name is “pellicle”. A pellicle refers to the membrane or skin. During kombucha fermentation, a pellicle forms on the surface - it is made up of bacterial🦠cellulose. Fun fact: cellulose, typically associated with the cell walls of plants, is also produced by bacteria!
º
What do you want to learn about❓Feel free to leave any knowledge requests in the comments and as always, hope to hear from you soon!

We ❤️ FREE! Teaching is NOT my talent - but thankfully, we have found so many amazing online classes, activities, and story times that are FREE and fun for our little students.
.
So first off, I’d like to give a HUGE shout out to all of the teachers out there - you are amazing! 🙌
.
Because let’s be honest, homeschooling is tough…really tough! 🤯
.
But thanks to so many different outlets, we’ve been able to enjoy virtual science classes with @mi_sci - art lessons with @mo.willems.studio - yoga with @bornyogastudio - craft hour with @michaelsstores - heck… @kristenanniebell just read my son a book on @storylineonline! 📚
.
What virtual classes + activities are your kids loving right now?!

The safety and wellbeing of our team and customers is our top priority. As we continue to monitor the developments of the coronavirus (COVID-19), we wanted to take a moment to reassure you of the steps we are taking as a restaurant.
Our restaurant is cleaned thoroughly, and at this time, we have taken additional precautions to ensure we are maintaining a healthy and clean environment by increasing the frequency of cleaning and sensitizing everything. With the order of our governor Whitmer we will be able to offer carry out and delivery during our regular hours.
We recognize that this is a challenging time for all, and most importantly, we remain deeply committed to the safety of our teams, customers and communities.
Thank you for your continued loyalty and support, God bless and stay safe !
