DESERT TWILIGHT 🌵

Today, I reached a huge milestone. For the past 2 years I’ve been trying to break my previous PR of 24:07. Last season I battled mental health issues resulting in a season with no progress made. Being left devastated, I told myself I would come back stronger than ever senior year.

Today, I crossed the finish in 23:38, I couldn’t be more proud of myself. I finally proved myself wrong, and it feels like all my hard work in my training truly paid off.

I’ll always remember this night, the night when I finally got out the trenches!!!
