The Straddle Squat is introduced in this program: which is essentially is a wide-stance variation of the traditional squat that targets the adductors, glutes, quads, and hamstrings. Demonstrated here by Coach Anna, this movement is excellent for developing lower body strength, particularly in the inner thighs. Keeping tension on the glutes throughout, we're going to be using this with high-volume sets to finish Workout A!

I love what I do ❤️ I like to think that comes through. And I love receiving feedback like this daily. Every single woman that walks through the doors of the Level Up studio has a different story. A different background, a different goal, different circumstances and a different ‘why’. Regardless of what those situations are, each and every one attacks their lives with a stronger, healthier and happier physique because of everything they accomplish in training. It’s amazing to see not only their bodies transform but their mindsets evolve, their smiles grow bigger, the laughs getting louder and their enjoyment and enthusiasm for the journey become larger. #womenempoweringwomen #ladieswholift #badasswomen #strong #muscle #training #gymtime #mydubai #dubaitrainer #womensgrouptraining #strongmum #fitmum #mumsindubai #dubaimums #dubailadies #fitnessindxb #community #testimonials #lovethejourney #fitnessjourney

You only need to strength train 2-3 times per week for results. This is ample for anyone, newbie or experienced, to gain muscle and strength - even I myself, with 20 years of experience, only train 3 or 4 times a week. This allows for adequate time to recover, repair and rebuild - ready to repeat with the same high level of intensity next time. However, this means that you have just 3 hours a week to build as much muscle and strength as you can. The best tool you have at your disposal to do this: Compound Lifts. Huge, multi-jointed, muscle-building lifts such as your squats and deadlifts, chin-ups and press, rows and lunges, are all superb at giving you the most ‘bang for your buck’ when strength training. Focus your energies at getting good at these staple movements and you will reap great rewards - making huge improvements in all areas of your physique. Does that mean solely perform compound lifts? No necessarily - if you begin to notice areas that deserve a little more energy, by all means add some isolation work to compliment your training eg. lateral raises, hamstring curls etc. But a good 70-90% of the great work you do will involve these massive compound lifts - and it’s these lifts we endeavour to get stronger at over time. As demonstrated perfectly by some of the awesome women of @levelupwithantwhite

Do we solely perform compound lifts in Level Up? No, we also occassionally include lateral raises, bicep work and hamstring isolation work as just a few examples - but simply to add a little more bias into these muscles if I begin to notice areas that deserve a little more energy. A good 90% of the great work we do involves these massive compound lifts - and it’s these lifts we endeavour to get stronger at over time. @antwhitecoach
