We had a weekend full of soccer and softball for both girls! Ella’s soccer team won their season opener in Massachusetts and then her softball team won both of their scrimmages in Shen. School soccer is, well, school soccer. But, Mia sent a beaut over to Jenna in their Colonie game. And, Mia’s softball team won their first games of the season at MCLA!

The girls were off to 10th ❗️ and 5th ❗️ grade this morning, after a quick (but adventurous) summer break. Thankfully, though, the calendar still says it’s summer for a couple more weeks and we plan to still live it up as much as we can!

15 • Fifteen

How are we here already? I’ll remember the year that I was fifteen forever. It’s a year that is permanently etched in my brain and in my heart.

I hope you remember fifteen forever, too. I hope you make meaningful memories. I hope you create your own stories of friendship, love, and travel this year. Stories that will last a lifetime. Stories you might tell someone new someday or that will provide you comfort on the days you need it.

Go enjoy 15, Mia. You only get one run at it. And, it might be your best year yet!

Love you! 💜

Happy birthday, Steph!

Today may be the one day of the year dedicated to celebrating you, but it’s everything you do during the other 364 days that makes our family’s life so full. Your love, caring, planning, driving, cheering, cooking, cleaning—and all the countless things you do—never go unnoticed.

We love and appreciate you more than you know.

16 days away in Italy and Greece with my favorite people was pure bliss. I love making memories with my crew. We walked 127 miles around Europe together, with our highest step day being 33,800 steps (15.6 miles). I’m so proud of our girls. They are fantastic travelers. I even joked to B at some point that I thought we could win Amazing Race. I have thousands of photos to go through, but here is one of each from Athens, Santorini, Milan, Pisa, Cinque Terre (Riomaggiore), Naples, Pompeii, and Rome. So many smiles. So many experiences. Another priceless summer vacation! 🤎 🩵

I’ve spent much of my summer watching my girls play softball. Ella played her first year of 10U and had so much fun out on the field. Her team came in second this week in their HudMo division, after beating the one seed in another game earlier in the week! She learned a lot this season, but I think I’m most proud of the joy she played with this year! She had a great team, with fantastic friends and forever teammates! 💙🥎💛
