REAL ESTATE: a senior thesis film by me

This film was made with little money and the most dedicated and loving group of people helping me bring this idea to life. It was ambitious, exhausting, and the most fulfilled I’ve felt in a long time. If you were able to be there, I want to thank you for showing up and being so present and encouraging. I love you, I love what we made, I love creating with friends more than I can put into words. I can’t wait to show you the final product in the spring.

This summer we pushed the bounds of what we thought was possible. Tapping in to the most deep and vulnerable corners of the creative soul, Issue 02 has been nothing short of a perfect display of the heart, love, and passion this community has. I am eternally grateful for everyone who made this possible and trusted the vision. Every laugh, tear, and (fake) drop of blood a testament to how truly incredible this project has turned out. I love you all so dearly, WHIMZY summer forever.

I feel especially blessed to have been able to write an article, Realm of Memory, that I would like to dedicate to my father, who would have been the most WHIMZY of us all.

XT, I am so grateful and ridiculously proud of you. Watching you grow is truly one of the greatest honors. Texi, thank you for *still* putting up with us and believing in our craziness, I can never thank you enough, te amo.
